SO GLAD you’re addressing this issue!!! I knew I was doing something wrong with sunscreen and the balling up stuff, but I didn’t know why or what. In the past, I would just wash everything off and just go with moisturizer. 😮
Well, not always. Recently, I’ve tried a new sunscreen and it pills no matter what I do. I just can’t make it work and it drives me crazy because it was not cheap, honestly.
@@dc9631 It’s really frustrating because I also tried it as a body sunscreen and it does not pill whatsoever. What is this sorcery?! I just don’t get it…
I have to apply moisturizer under sunscreen because no matter what sunscreen I use after like 4 hours max the sunscreen dries my skin out to a point my chin starts peeling (without applying moisturizer just the sunscreen). MY SKIN IN NATURE IS NOT DRY and leans to oily however sunscreen ( I tried every brand possible) dries out my skin after couple of hours. Also I feel like my skin gets irritated if I directly apply the spf without moisturizer
I found that Skin1004 hyalu cica spf 50 never pills, even when applied in hurry on top of other products. I hope it will be produced as long as possible
Mineral sunscreens are so finicky for me. I have issues with this as well as mineral sunscreen clinging to dry patches. I stick with chemical sunscreens for this reason.
Sunscreen chemical or Mineral flare’s my rosacea UP😅 and yes Ive tried many like, several brands, even korean and the “ Sensitve” SS are not sensitive. 🧐
That is a good point about the sunscreen on top of the moisturizer. I may just try using sunscreen without my moisturizer and see how that works. Thanks for the info!❤
I dont find that suncreen is enough as a moisturizer for me but! I layer on top of a gel moisturizer which is also not enough on its own for my skin and with the two together its perfect!
I mist my face with water first, then apply Great Value or Dollar tree sunscreen. Over that I apply a 1/4 dime size amount of L’Oréal hydra genius serum, Jergens (pink all purpose face cream) and top off with a little Albolene. Summer face! Wintertime I use a little Great Value Gentle Skin cream (green top) with the sunscreen. 👌🏾
YES YES YES I deal with this issue ALL THE TIME, actually what I’ve found useful is using Embrolysse (fragrance-free sensitive) or Epionce moisturizers provide the best base for smooth sunscreen application. I would like you to go into greater detail on this issue on how to avoid. Would love to hear you go into greater detail on the recommendation you summarized.
I use tinted sunscreen and it dries my skin if I don’t have moisturizer underneath. I’m in Canada, so I change the thickness of moisturizers in summer and winter.
I use a moisturizer that’s oil free for example a Neutrogena one + my Neutrogena SPF55+ or a CeraVe sunscreen Mine always clumped up and I thought it was me but changing my moisturizer Forsure helped 😊
I have oily acne prone skin and I finally found my holy grail perfect right now for summer, I just do the haruharu unscented rice toner and then numbuzin n1 sun essence 🥰
I try to maintain moisturizer and sunscreen application with 30-40 mins gap. My super sensitive and dry skin needs moisturizer, without which face feels and looks dry.
I can with that but I can’t live with it getting in my eyes. I will be miserable for 2-3 days if it gets in my eyes. Unfortunately every time I wear it, it always migrates to my eyes. It burns so much. Every sunscreen does it to me…. Even the ones made for babies! Please HELP!
Yes! This happened to me with the Verdio. I would love it so much if it weren’t for this problem, and I NEVER applied it on top of other products, so it’s probably just incompatible with my skin
I don’t apply any products before sunscreen and yet I have experienced that peeling, especially when reapplying it, so for me it’s clear that sometimes it has nothing to do with the interacttion with other skincare products but simply that there are sunscreens whose formulation causes them to peel 🤷🏾♀️
Sometimes it’s incompatible with my skin ..
Exactly, me too
Saaaame
Yes oily skin.

Same! I was looking for this comment.

That’s what my EltaMD tinted physical sunscreen does
Same here 🙋🏾♀️ I think It’s a formulation of some sunscreens thing
@@claralopez1010 Do you have oily face skin and dry/drier body skin? That might be it.

In my personal experience it also depends on the specific sunscreen you are using, some simply are more prone to pilling than others.

I love to use the CosRX snail mucin, but that gel-like consistency will make sunscreen and some moisturizers pill up
