All of those worked well for me 👏🏻, except Differin. For whatever reason my skin kept purging for well over a realistic time (a year). But Tretinoin worked in only 2 months 😁
Hey your videos are super duper helpful! I’m just asking if you could make a video for super clear soft skin for 13 year olds, or you know young teenagers, still children, so nothing like retinol I don’t think unless you recommend it. ❤ please?
My son’s been visiting a dermatologist for a while now. He’s on 4 different medications/topicals. They help somewhat. Mainly his face. Accutane will be next.
Never had acne as a teen, but started having painful breakouts once I entered my late 20s😩 I learned I likely have hormonal acne from Dr. Dray’s videos, who recommended and inspired me to go to PCP. My doctor agreed and prescribed me spironolactone– worked like a charm!! I’ve been on it almost a year and my skin has never looked (and felt!) better! Thanks for saving me so much time and money Dr. Dray, your guidance really helped me!😊
I’ve been using Benzoyl peroxide for sometime since I was 12, it cured my acne then but as I grew into adulthood my skin was not reacting to it anymore so I switched to Salicylic acid and still did not get the results I wanted. After sometime, I tried Adapalene gel which my skin absolutely hated and I got the biggest pimples I have ever gotten in my life, I used it for 5 months and there was no sign of improvement. Out of desperation I went back to BP but La Rosche Posays and finally my skin is getting somewhere. I double cleaned with Micellar water & Cerave SA cleaner once at night and apply BP as spot treatment and Neutrogena moisturizer. For the AM, wash off my face with water only then neutrogena moisturizer followed by Neutrogena Sunscreen. My face has been the best is has been in years!
Thank you for all your passion and love for skin care, its helped so many. But I must say something out of concern and love. Please do not take it hard. Its not to belittle or demean. If I am wrong about what I say I will rightfully accept that and apologize. Dr you are very very small lady, Im not sure if youve jumped on the vegan bandwagon but please make sure you’re nourishing yourself. You look very weak :( and yes its none of my business. But I say this out of care because Ive read of so many vegan ppl dying recently due to malnourishment

I was given it by my doctor TWICE, differin never worked
Is tretinoin only by prescription in the Usa?
@@Gaby-cq8pr for the most part yes although u can get it thru places like agency for example
@@Gaby-cq8pr Yes, unfortunately. But it’s not too bad when going the telehealth route with an online doctor prescribing it and using insurance.
Same thing, differin did nothing for me except dry and tight skin. Tretinoin cleared up my face within 3 weeks
What works for me is 10% azelaic acid and kojic acid soap together with moisturizer and sunscreen. Just a simple skincare routine.

Best to use tea tree oil. Wat u gave to use don’t works… Still blackhead pimples still keep coming back.

Would differin aggravate very mild perioral dermatitis?
