  1. My most trusted skin care person😍I have super sensitive skin, so I watch you religiously! ❤

  2. Lol. I remember when I used to overthink my ingredients and which days to use them. I have a friend that refuses to educate herself like I do, but she will ask me the same darn questions over and over. You have to actually research what you want and what works and what doesn’t and when yo use them. Asking a friend just doesn’t work. There’s just too much and it took me a long time to learn what I’ve learned. She won’t even sit through one of your videos. Yet I’m supposed to sit there and explain it all on one conversation 🤣

  3. I swear to quit smoking this summer! Smoking is the very worst thing you can do for your skin and no serum will fix it! After just a few days off smoking I see drastic results, imagine what a year or two will do.

    1. My daughter couldn’t quit until she was pregnant with her first, then she quit cold turkey and hasn’t looked back. If you don’t have children, maybe you could pretend. If you do, then all the more reason. You can do this! The stakes just need to be high enough. And then it’s one day at a time for a long while.

    2. You can do it! I believe in you!

My dad started smoking in the 1960s, and he quit for good in 2007 when he couldn’t smoke for a couple weeks while healing from removal of either basal cell or squamous cell carcinoma on his nose (I forget which one of the two it was, but thankfully it was not melanoma). Hasn’t smoked since.

Not everyone is able to go “cold turkey” like he was, and that’s ok! It’s ok to slip up sometimes, too. The important thing is to keep making progress. You might want to talk to your doctor, too, as they may have some tips to help or know of some resources. There are some prescription medications (like bupropion and chantix) that are FDA-approved for use in smoking cessation, so you can discuss that with your doctor as well to see if you may be a good candidate. Different things work for different people. :)

    3. I quite 40 yrs ago and have never regretted it. You can do it! You may gain a little weight during the process, but don’t despair you can take care of that later. Think of it as the best thing you can do for yourself. No one can do it for you.

  4. my big mistake is buying too much sun block and it expires and I end of tossing them per recommendation of my dermatologist

    1. Yes!! I was looking for sunscreen in March just to be ready, it’s still gloomy yet in May😢. Anyway, several tubes expired in less than a year. I didn’t buy any that trip. I was shopping at the drug store, and they really didn’t have a good selection at all. If it won’t last at least a whole year, there isn’t any point in buying it.

  5. I am 65 years young, I keep it very simple cleanse, moisturizer. That’s it. Drink water, green tea and eat whole real food.

  6. Truth bombs need to be delivered!! Thank you Dr. Dray for telling it like it is❤🎉🎉❤❤

  7. I like these “you tell ‘em” videos. I am sure I have looked for old stuff in the drawer to fix something!

  8. Andrea I love watching your videos…not only do I get superb trustworthy info. but I also get a comedy show!! 😅
    You crack me up!
You are priceless…unique..may you never ever change ❤

  9. Best video I’ve seen from Dr. Dray, I laughed a lot – if you go drinking, vaping, in a bikini, no sunscreen, good luck 😂😂😂I really appreciate the blunt truths, thanks for being a positive influence! ❤

  10. Preach…I needed this slap 1.5 yrs ago. At 76, in congestive skin recovery for a year, from combining too many products… and not done yet. 😫 Too late I realized importance of consistency of a few items that play well together.

  11. Of all the professional derms on this platform, you are most straight talking creator and present the information that so it is easy to digest. I find i check with you first when seeing if products are worth it or will help my specifics. Thank you!
Plus you are so random and funny.

  12. I love you preaching sunscreen! I’m nearly 63 and while I found sunscreen and hats in my late 30s, I still look younger than my peers (who btw have fillers, tox, and nip tucks, I don’t) use that sunscreen!!!

    1. Im so pale i a.ways had to wear sunscreen. I ser my friends back, be loves sunning, and it is effed up with spots and a few of these lumpy scaly itchy blobs that have all gone flat now at least( but are still there u can barely see some of them now id not notice if i didnt know they where they were at first) since he started using tretinoin and salicylic acid. Im glad i couldn’t tan cause I would not want that skin.

  13. This video came at just the right time. I’m 6 weeks into quitting 12+ years of vaping, and last month has been one of the toughest times of my life with pretty severe withdrawal symptoms (heightened anxiety, mood swings, physical tremors). But the health benefits have definitely been noticeable – my lung function and skin texture/congestion have improved considerably. Plus, you save a noticeable amount of money, especially if you smoke/vape a lot like I used to.

For anyone thinking about quitting, it’ll be difficult but it’s so, so worth it!

    1. Keep going, it just gets better and better- I quit vaping 6 years ago. I had vaped for 10 years. One thing I did was vape 0mg liquid from time to time if I was really craving the habit. Not inhaling, just drawing into the mouth. You are through the physical addiction. It’s the psychological addiction you are coping with now. Congratulations! It’s a big accomplishment. :)
