normal. slather on moisturizer, focus on barrier support too
Tretinoin can definitely make your skin peel, especially if you’re new to it. A good moisturizer or balm should help with that (You might also have to slow down on it if the peeling doesn’t stop. Like if you use it every day, you may have to cut back to every other day.)
It’s quite normal to peel in the beginning. I would space it out. You can start with 2 times a week. And use a barrier repair cream on the other nights.
Slow consistent is better than intensity.

Urban Decay has been made in China for decades, I never heard anyone complaining about their products. The brand is responsible for quality control.

I’ve been wondering why Retinol is expensive when it’s made from vitamin A or beta-carotene. These are cheap ingredients in abundance.
I’ve always thought it’s the packaging required to keep it stable?
Maybe this is the true price when companies are not ripping us off.
Many products in India also has only retinyl palmitate in them but the product name will be 0.1% retinol serum. And those brands refuse to change their names or give any valid explanation even when questioned by dermats and skincare formulators.
Retinol is the one thing I don’t trust at Dollar Tree. I prefer the Skin Nutritions Niacinamide and Squalane. The only serum that gives results.
