Can you do a video on sunscreen products that don’t cost so much? I’m not complaining, but it seems like when you do a sunscreen product, it’s usually expensive and with everything going on economically and this huge bill, well, not everyone can afford a thirty dollar sunscreen and yes, I have seen sunscreen that costs more than twenty dollars.

Do you know any sunscreen products that are less than $15.00, yet still does the job?

  1. You are our sunscreen queen. You’ve got a point… you’re an icon… you’re a legend… and you ARE the moment! 😎🌞👑

  2. I’m always outside hiking when I’m off work. With my UPF clothes, sunscreen, hat, and heliocare supplements. You can enjoy the outdoors and be safe!

    1. I agree with quality of life activities outdoors and in the sun. I am a gardener and I will always be out there in the garden. I would say that if you perspire, especially down the temples and cheeks, then please reapply and reapply again. Temples and cheeks are where my actinic keratosis was most profound. I had very little on my forehead which is always covered with a bandana and a broad rimmed hat. The sweat literally washes away your protection.

  3. I’m 38 and have had 0 anything done. I have wrinkles only when I smile why? Sunscreen, sunglasses and good genetics. I was the girl that didn’t wear it until I was 28 and used tanning beds until 24. It’s never too late to start using it always. 😊

  4. Wearing a rash guard helps a lot. It is too hard to evenly apply sunscreensto my back often enough.

  5. You’re doing a great job of teaching people about sunscreen! I don’t know if they listen or not but it sure makes you stop & think about it. I’m only in the sun for awhile on days I mow the grass but I understand the importance of sunscreen! Thank you & have a great weekend!❤️

  6. Do you have to reapply bc it rubs off or bc it degrades? If degrades, does it degrade indoors too or only in the sun?

    1. You need to reapply because it rubs off with time. Modern sunscreens are almost always formulated to be photostable including US ones that use Avobenzone. Octocrylene works excellently at stabilizing Avobenzone. 😄

    2. This is what I’ve always wondered too! Because some mineral sunscreens will stay on all day. Like a mask. I think either Dr. Dray or Angie Hot and Flashy, or was is Dr. Sam Ellis, one day mentioned it’s because it rubs or sweats off.

  7. I’m usually skeptical about beauty advice, but The Forbidden Art of Majestic Beauty blew me away. The way it breaks down subtle things like posture, scent, and clothing energy feels like unlocking a secret code. After trying a few techniques, I started noticing more compliments and better skin days. This book is like having a personal beauty coach who knows all the hidden hacks. Definitely worth a read

  8. So far all sunscreens have run into my eyes, hiking, and it’s dangerous when it happens while I’m rock climbing!

    1. What about a stick spf around the eyes and the rest of the face with a water resistant spf? Could it help?
For me, only avéne and bondi sands sunscreens dont irritate my eyes.

    2. Yes Dr Dray has suggested sun sticks or even lip SPF sticks/balms or baby/kids mineral sunscreens. There are also eye dedicated SPF products (drmtlgy, colorscience, supergoop, etc.).

    3. Try set the sunscreen with powder or sunscreen powder around the eyes, it help so much for me

  9. I didn’t apply sunscreen for a day and my acne scars became really bad. After 2 days of applying my skin came back to normal.

  10. Some people think that our bodies have evolved to protect itself from the sun, and in a way they have but not to the way we live today. Sunburn is a defensive response to the sun, but our bodies can only take so many sunburns. Some people evolved to have lighter skin (people further from the equator) to be able to absorb as much light as possible for vitamin D production. Others evolved with darker skin to handle to sun more effectively. Our ancestors didn’t spend hours in the sun on the beach or mowing the yard, and since we are living longer there is more time for sun damage to show. Wear the damn sunscreen!

  11. I’ve been wearing sunscreen daily and using differin daily for over a year because of you. I’m 32 and my skin looks better than it ever has

  12. I wore sunscreen and carried a UV umbrella on a hot sunny day visit to a Florida outdoor outlet mall. I hope we bring back the trend. ☔

  13. I also wanted to mention that in 2021 they did get rid of several sunscreens off of the market for containing benzene which causes cancer. It’s possible to both know that we need to protect our skin while at the same time making sure sunscreens have safe ingredients. I think either extreme of either not protecting yourself or saying people who are asking questions about sunscreens are cuckoo, is dangerous.
