It takes several minutes for sunscreen to dry to know how it’s going to look for the rest of the day, which is why she’s trying to describe how it looks later for this short clip. All sunscreens will look shiny when they’re still wet, especially under lights used for filming videos.

@DrDrayzday I am here in South Korea. My skin tone is a light to medium tan (woman of color with a red tone). I would like to try this, do you have any suggestions? Like maybe one that is clear but gives that transparent pearl like glow? Peach, coral, tan, and porcelain or peal compliments me well. 😊
Dr. Dray doesn’t give recommendations for products other than what she covers in the videos. I’m no expert in anything, but do the stores there allow for testing? Or shop where returns are easy. I know. I hate returns, too. I hope the 1st one works. 😊
You can go to an Olive young to test products. I don’t live in South Korea but a product that’s apparently decently popular there, but very popular overseas that I’ve tried is the Skin1004 sun serum. It has a very slight cast and super nice finish, glowy but not greasy (I would know lol I have oily skin myself)
Looks like this brands has 2 other products with spf
My favorite face sunscreen is the SkinCeuticals Physical Fusion UV Defense SPF 50. I’ve been using it every day for the last 6 years. 🙌 It’s now a part of me lol

I’m white and it looks too white lol. So it definitely won’t work on dark skin.
Well, I was there until “tinted” was mentioned. I have sensitive skin and tinted products turn orange on me. Another one I can’t use.
Do they turn orange on you because you are pale? If so, tone up sunscreens are amazing for paler people who normally can’t wear tinted products. I can’t use regular tinted sunscreens because they are so dark that they either make my face not match my body, or most often I turn orange. I can use tone up sunscreens without a problem though
I think it depends on the used pigments,, I would give this a try, Isntree is really good

I prefer shiny. It looks better on my aging skin than matte finishes because it scatters the light away from my wrinkles instead of absorbing it. But, to each their own!
This sunscreen is definitely made for dry and mature skin types. Putting this on oily skin would make you a greaseball.

For me, tone up SPF is just unnecessary white cast. IMO it is just companies being lazy with their products leaving white cast and just claiming “tone-up”😅
Naturally oily skin is now fashionable . Those with dry skin use products to “glow”, or look “dewy.,”🤣🤣🤣🤣
