Seriously! He used to talk about ancestoral life styles. Lol. Ancestors didn’t have PEDs. Many youngsters fell into the trap. Not against Filters, botox, PEDs or any type of plastic surgeries but if you are misleading people and telling lies, you should be sued. Love Derek and Greg Doucette for all the work they have done.
Literally didn’t expect this topic from you Dr Dray! Have a nice day
👍🏼👍🏼
Lol every lifestyle, diet, & fitness regimen that ever existed is someone’s ancestral lifestyle 😂
Love this… thank you for calling out the insanity we live in called fakery… and keeping it real as always. Your truly the best Dr Dray. Happy holidays…!!!
Thanks for watching
Gosh, we need more of this realness! Thank you Dr! I hate so many aspects of influencer culture and do everything I can to keep my two young daughters away from it. Thanks to you I now use products that have been proven to work and don’t cost an arm and a leg and my skin never looked better! I tell all my friends about you!
Thanks for watching
There are so many people nowadays that lie, scam, and grift. It’s so disheartening.
Aa a young guy who’s into fitness and regularly watches your channel, I must say I did not expect you to talk about this but I’m glad you decided to do so :)
Thanks for watching
E.M.P. you are a young guy who is aware beyond your years. Respect.

Regarding celebrities and their skincare lines, it’s always puzzled me how they can claim (and people believe!) That the range they just created would somehow be the reason why their skin looks like it does… are they implying they used to DIY their cream and now they’ve decided to bottle it and sell it? Of course not! So why not tell people what they’ve been doing that seems to have worked so far, if they care about sharing their beauty secrets that much? Unless they’re trying to make a quick buck or two…??🤔
Exactly!
This is so true!! For any celebrities or skin experts who suddenly come out with their own line of products, I usually just watch their old videos to see what they recommended before they stood to profit from their recommendations.
IMO (or maybe I’m just more aware of this specific celeb) priyanka chopra is the worst! She was on one of those YouTube videos talking about a diy “Haldi”(turmeric) mask which is a common ingredient used in Indian diy skincare. There is no way she’s relying on only haldi to get results. She got a nose job, then lied about it on the view when asked point blank, even though it’s very apparent that her nose changed (not for the better) over the years. BUT then reveaed in her biography she DID get a nose job…something medical (“deviated septum” is what I’ve heard so many celebs say over the years like Ashley tisdale when she got her nose job). Apparently the entire bridge of her nose collapsed, required them to restructure it entirely thus the changed appearance which she previously lied about.
Then she came out with hair care “anomaly” which apparently isn’t formulated even well, she doesn’t have great hair, and then has the nerve to show up with a wig/extensions even though she’s touting a hair care line.
CASH GRAB when are where appropriate. Stick to making movies lady, why is it so hard?!
Well done Dr. Dray!!👏👏👏 It’s insane what some influencers do to mislead and make money. Sickening🤮
Love hearing the healthcare professionals calling out the crap and giving a voice of reason.
I agree with you 100% about everything you’ve said here. I also think the people selling false stories do no favors for people who do have legitimate, although rare, gripes about diagnosis, treatment and the prevalence of misdiagnosis in the medical community for the purposes of selling prescription pharmaceuticals. These people take the small percentage of errors and unethical behavior within medicine and exploit that information to benefit and take advantage of people, which is wrong in every way.
When fitness and skincare collide. Thank you Dr. Dray for talking about this. Two of my favorite topics
Yes! Thank you for saying what many of us have been thinking! One of my biggest irritations is seeing a certain “doctor” who is not an md nor a rheumatologist on Instagram who claims she can reverse autoimmune “dis ease” like lupus. Coming from a family including myself with lupus I find this particularly offensive in the claims she makes. If lupus could be cured there wouldn’t be so many of us suffering from this awful incurable disease.
The person needs to be named to prevent desperate people from believing this “influencer”.
Thank you for this.
I always appreciate influencers who are honest.
And I’m with you on this whole anti-intellectualism and mistrust of experts trend. It’s baffling.
I just sent this video to my stepsons who showed their dad and me a Liver King video. Thankfully my husband is an MD, so we all pretty much laughed at him. I’m so glad you chose to discuss this topic. Also, I’m 54 and have great skin especially for my age. My hair stylist even asked me to raise my eyebrows because she didn’t believe I’ve never had Botox. To your point, I’m blessed genetically, and I am post menopausal on HRT. Really glad you shared the potential effects of HRT.
The potential side effects of HRT should be addressed as well.
Oh lol getting accused of being Botox’d is the best compliment!!! Glad you could get hrt, My docs are completely insistent on nonononever, despite the fact that my menopause symptoms cause insane levels of sleep deprivation…
Yes, Dr. Dray! Thank for your sense and voice of reason in calling out these shady characters. So many are preying on naive masses only to make their bank accounts lighter. And then wonder why they don’t see the same results through the smoke and mirrors. Great video as always Dr Dray!
Please never ever stop doing what you are doing. I’ve learned so much! I’m over 50 and my skin has never looked or felt better. I’m also realistic at what I can achieve for my skin. Thank you.
I totally agree with everything you said in this video. But, I do think we’ve all, at least once in our life, come across a doctor who walks in and quickly prescribes a medication without asking more questions. We all play a part in this “misinformation”. Patients don’t ask why we’re being prescribed something and doctors don’t educate or personalize each visit. Doctors will sometimes just use a checklist instead of digging deep into a patient’s life or environment. We could all do better.
Sort of like the boom in doctors taking gender confusion of teens as a self-proclaimed identity and mutilating/castrating minors.
Yes!! I’ve gone to the doctor with symptoms and had them tell me I could either take this pill or have the organs removed. Surely there’s more than just those two options, I’ve done my homework. I wondered why she didn’t care to ask about my diet and lifestyle at all and instead jumped straight to that. Idk if it’s so much the doctors failing us, or the medical schools failing the doctors which then leads them to fail us, but there’s definitely a disconnect there that needs to change.
Well spoken Dr Dray. Thank you for having the courage to take on the spoofers out there. ‘’Buyer BEWARE’’.
The sad part is that so many on YouTube and social media lie. It harms so many people. I wish I had the cache to call others out. Love you called this out.
Have a wonderful Christmas Andrea and everyone. 🙌🏻🍑🧡Lisa
