Aunty Susan, how can you tell she has a filter ?
The whole original video has an angelic feel and you can see her hairline is smooth and blurred.
Her smile lines are heavily blurred too, you can see them in most photos of her quite clearly. I don’t think she has a lot of wrinkles or anything, but the filter has to be there.

I think there is a filter. Her forehead is blurry and so is her nose area. They’ve probably set the filter to 6 or 7 😂
Looks like a filter because her skin tone is so even and she has a soft glow on her face. I can’t wait for JLO to really tell us everything she does so I can immediately buy it all. :p

Filter=borderline false advertising If you’re trying to promote a skin care line. Not only does she get a filter on a video, but she also gets an additional amount of medical support for the way she looks. Average people don’t think about that.
Of course she probably does most xpensive facials, I mean look at forehead botox a little, I’m sure or other stuff that others like me can’t afford!

Difficult one. I was disappointed the moment she left her eye make-up on and she kinda lost me there, too.
I know she goes to Dr. Lancer for sureeeeee cuz she’s always seen coming and going from there.

I would never watch a celebrity skin care if I wanted to learn about skin care
“Aging can be scary” thank you for saying it. It’s nice that we’re trying to be more positive, but it’s really refreshing to hear the truth. That said J Lo is beautiful AND I’d really love to see what her skincare line does without the filter. I’ve heard it’s good, but I can’t trust anyone who puts on a filter for promo.
I watched the original video and was disappointed. By the filter and the fact that she obviously already had makeup on, you can see the false lashes, all the foundation that comes off on the towel. I understand its still entertainment, but I don’t get the point of hiding and pretending the routine is something that it isn’t. It’s misleading and basically a JLO Beauty ad.

She works for an industry that DEVALUES women as they get older. The truth is almost everyone uses filters on social media. We ALL choose how we want to present ourselves on social, we pick the best angle, the right filter etc. So, to expect celebrities to show us their raw unfiltered selfs is highly unrealistic.
I love her so much. Imagine how crucified she would be if she came on with no makeup and no filter. I know it’s a little misleading but it would be extremely vulnerable for her to do so and like you were saying back in the day we never saw celebrities without makeup. She’s from that time and I think it would be really difficult to break out of that after doing it for so long.
