  1. I am a doctor, but at med school I never learnt this well when coursed dermatology. Your explanations are magistral in content but more impressively so simply precise and easily understood even to people not used to scientific terminology.

  2. Such a video I need as we head into indoor heating season, while I learn to navigate existence with eczema. Thank you, Dr. Dray. Happy Holidays to you and yours, and all those viewing your videos. Cheers!

  3. Such an informative video. I just purchased The Ordinary NFA cream and their lactic acid. That cream is so under rated. It’s my favorite. Thank you Dr. Dray! And Happy Holidays. You really have the spirit, your house looks so pretty!♥🌲

  4. I tried the Eucerin Advanced Repair Cream with urea and other NMFs based on your recommendation and it literally saved my winter skin. The large tub lasts 2 winters and it’s worth every penny.

    1. Eucerin advanced is the best. Saves me all year long but especially in the winter. Made a mistake and bought a nivea lotion last time and it’s junk. Never straying again

  5. I’ve completely smoothed out KP on my upper arms thanks to your advice, Dr. Dray. I simply lather the tiny bit of Peach Slices SA wash left over on my hands from washing my face to my upper arms in the shower. Followed by AmLactin moisturizer. OMG I’m in my 60’s but my arms now feel like when I was a teenager – so soft, smooth and supple!!! I didn’t even know my skin could feel so amazing. BTW Costco has 2-pack of 20 oz. AmLactin WAY cheaper than I’ve seen it at drugstores. Highly recommended.

  6. Very helpful contents Dr Dray as always. It’s a humble request to you to put some stress on showering or bathing especially in winter.. And how it effects the health of our skin in a day to day basis.. I bathed very roughly although half of my life as disrupted my skin barrier badly (also exfoliating, very bad DIYS and bleaches) … Please make more videos on how to recover a damaged body skin barrier

  7. Another masterclass on the fundamentals of dermatology. As a nurse, Dr. Dray’s information is frequently incorporated into practice to educate patients undergoing anti-cancer treatment. The patients are always so grateful for this information as most oncologists just don’t know about effective strategies for skin management.

  8. I love your videos 💕 and they’re always soo educational! This just confirmed my suspicions on why the ordinary’s moisturizer is the only one (of the 10+ moisturizers I’ve tried over 4 years) that works wonders for me! All the other ones blocked my pores, made me look greasy and didn’t stop tretinoin peeling appearance and associated redness! (btw I have atopic skin and had really bad eczema until I was 12).

Every time one of those failed and made me look like a peeling tomato, the ordinary’s moisturizer reverted me to a healthy looking skin in just 1 week of use.

I’ve always felt that urea was one of the big reason’s why that moisturizer was different from the others 😁

  9. Two of the products that have helped my skin the most are K-beauty toners and The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors products.

  10. My skin definitely gets much drier during the Winter. To be honest, when I get home from a very long, busy day at work, I’m so tired and sometimes skip moisturizing after I shower. Never my face though. I really need to get better about using a moisturizer consistently. Thanks for the valuable information, as always. Happy Friday, Dr Dray! I hope you have a blessed evening. 💞

  11. Very useful information and all beautifully explained .. the ingredients pressent in natural moisturisers often have us miffed! Thank you, a very helpful video

  12. Could you please do an updated luxury skincare “is it worth it” type video :) I dropped my La Mer products and switched to Cerave based on your explanations, and am quite happy with the switch lol. Particular brands could be Sisley, La Prairie, etc. Thanks for your content!!

  13. I relate to this so much! Never used anything on my face when I was young and as soon as I introduced moisturiser to my face everything became awful. Started breaking out and my face is even more sensitive, everything burns my face
