I put my Christmas decorations up the day after Thanksgiving, and take them down a week after the New Year. I live in New England and people seem to keep them up for an extended amount of time usually through the end of January. Btw, that sweater is really pretty!

Family traditionally put our tree/lights up on Dec 15th. However, this year I am putting my tree up the day after Thanksgiving as my window faces the side street hospital workers drive into the hospital parking lot. I am retired now, but I want the shining tree to welcome my fellow nurses before and after their shift. ❤️
