Have you tried benzoyl peroxide or azelaic acid? I hear those are good alternatives for fungal acne. The latter is really good for redness as well. If you want something less harsh, I know tea tree or green tea can also help. Whatever works best for your skin!
@diana soreil tea tree may cause skin irritation and swelling. In people with acne, it can sometimes cause skin dryness, itching, stinging, burning, and redness. Id ask derm before using
Same. Salicylic makes me break out in continuous, painful breakouts that last well past the purge phase. But derms never know what to tell me when I tell them that.
Phenoxyethanol perhaps? I have been getting an allergic dermititis on my eyelids and I don’t have sensitive skin. The product I’m starting to confidently point the dermititis to is CeraVe foaming cleanser for normal to oily skin. CeraVe puts phenoxyethanol in many of their products. And that ingredient is in a lot of skin products in general, so when we are layering products in our routine, I wonder if too much phenoxyethanol gets on our skin and causes irritation. I also use CeraVe PM lotion, but I use it in the AM. Google phenoxyethanol.
@SWitsthat could be possible. Wonder if Dr. Dray could tell us on that one ingredient..it crazy bc products that are made for sensitive skin ( face) are the one’s thats make my rosacea worse! Aveeno Calm and restore has saved me this far. I love it!
@Mj Better check on that. As far as I know, you’re not supposed to use SA and retinol/retinoids together. It’s usually SA in the morning and retinoids at night. It’s been a while, since I watched something about this, though. Any of Dr. Dray’s longer videos on the subject should have that info, though.
Happy Tuesday excited to be here for Dr Dray time this evening. Thanks for Sharing these products have a good night.
Doesn’t work for me. Only breaks me out even more. I have sensitive reactive combination Rosacea fungal acne skin.

How about milia that has been around my chin and lip for years? 😅
Have you checked out her milia videos?
I get these and I also get other bumps on my head from being clumsy 😂
my skin doesn’t tolerate that 😖

You could try with a gentle cleanser and adapalene every other day until you build up tolerance
I have rosacea and I find that using Cerave Cleanser or moisturiser make it flare. Not sure which ingredient causes it, but its not a good look😢😮

My skin is irritated after one week of every other day of any salicylic acid cleanser. :(
This really work, but you have to be constant with your routine. Adapalene takes at least tree months to show results
She said use SA twice a day. Can i use it at night as a face wash and then adaplene?
@Mjyes you can. That’s how I use it myself
@Mj

SA face wash and serum in the morning plus benzoyl peroxide wash and differin at night has changed my skin drastically
Been using it for years, helps a little but still tons of them. Aklief is the only thing that actually helped me personally.
I got prescribed that, hoping it works!
