Happy weekend Dr Dray! I had my wisdom teeth taken out yesterday and am recovering. I will prob binge watch a lot of your vids 🙌🏻
Hope the healing goes well
Hope you heal quickly! I was in so much pain for a few days after getting mine out! Did everything go okay?
Thank you Sarah! What a sweet comment. The procedure was almost painless. I got laughing gas and was having the time of my life lolol, super relaxed and didn’t care about what was happening. Today my face is swollen on one side, but I don’t feel any pain bc of the pain meds. So it seems I am one of the lucky ones! I will take it super easy for the next few days.
Happy recovery and enjoy binge watching Dr Dray!
👱♀️❤
@Nada B thanksss 💕
Numbuzin: Hello
Dr. Dray: …meh
Btw, I do enjoy using their toner kkk but definitely a NO for their sunscreens after seeing the textures.
👍🏼
Hi, Dr. Dray! Your recent videos (i.e., eczema on the hands; eczema vs. atopic; retinols with other actives) were especially appreciated because they are pertinent: dermatological conditions I am currently experiencing! It’s like getting an answer before even asking the question!
Glad to hear they were helpful
As someone who’s been watching you since 2016, I am so parasocially proud(?) of your channel growth. Always wishing you the best in life — YouTube and otherwise!
Happy Weekend. 🌺 Agreed about the library. It’s definitely my happy place even if I don’t check anything out. Just love being around the books. ❤ 📚 Ooh I have to try that Apple candle. Love apple scented things. 🍎
Happy Saturday! Let me know what you think of the scent
Be absolutely sure the wick in your candle contains no LEAD. It’s not usually a problem with candles made in America, but it can be a problem with imports. Just a heads-up on the LEAD poisoning hazard.
Interesting, I’ve never heard of that before!
I wish our consumer protections were strong enough that we didn’t have to go Nancy Drew on everything we buy.
Just bought some Head & Shoulders on Amazon and it has 2 production code dates when you check online 🙃
It’s so tiring
Some wicks have small wires inside. Those could potentially contain lead or any questionable alloy.
The burning chemical scents are toxic
@Deb Wis what do you mean by toxic and could you please provide sources?
Happy Saturday! I really appreciated yesterday’s video on Oily Skin. I had oily skin from the time I was a teen until recent years. Now that I am 59 and on prescription Tretinoin I have the best skin of my life and barely any visible wrinkles. I think my now youthful, healthy skin is partly due to having oily skin most of my life and watching your videos. I finally have confidence in the appearance of my skin. Thank you!
Glad to hear it was helpful
Yes, oily skin are better than dry skin! 👍
I LOVE liquid eyeshadows! One step and done! Been using them for years.
Also been using Neutrogena cleansing balm for about a year now. It’s the closest to Farmacy brand. Leaves very little residue. LOVE it! ❤️
Do you put the liquid eye shadow on crease or lid. Or do you two at a time. I’m interested in trying. Thanks!
Hey Dr Dray… I’m all the way from South Africa. Cape Town. Really been enjoying your channel. My biggest take aways have been 1. Use more sunscreen and a good quality one. 2. No need to use a toner nor exfoliate your skin often if at all 3. Moisturise on wet skin. I’ve started my journey with retinol a few days ago. Just using the Retinol24 night moisturiser. It is pricey but have seen rave reviews on this. And just want something gentle to help my adult acne. I think it’s ingrown hair cysts that take a long time to go away. I’m cleansing my skin with Eucerin dermopure gel cleaner 1-2 times a day. Thank you again. For inspring this 36 year old man all the way in “africa” to take better care of his skin.
You read my mind! I thought my eyelid and face milia were triggered by the Cerave ointment. I clean my face really well before applying so not sure what’s happening but I’ve taken to only slathering on petrolatum on my body not my face now
Thanks for promoting the library! I always try to order books that interest me from the library before committing. I also grew up in a city with a very developed library system…you could get ANYTHING (books, music, movies, etc.). Now in my rural setting I miss it 🥺 interlibrary loans aren’t the same. As a kid I was always at the library, and looked forward to earning personal pan pizzas from Pizza Hut and BookIt.
love libraries
I learned from my daughter that my granddaughter’s class isn’t doing book it or that pizza hut doesn’t do it anymore I thought that was just awful. She and I were talking about how the school district would do a book fair in all the elementary schools it was a fantastic program kids loved it and so did this parent and now grandparent, since I more grandchildren that will be going to school. Reading is so important to children and adults too.
My favorite thing is checking out kindle or audio books from my library. I haven’t gone inside in years. Wonderful for failing eyesight because you can adjust how the font looks. I have even recommended a book I want and they get them. Kindles are very inexpensive too. especially when I rarely buy a book because I just check them out!
Manufacturers should do a poll to see who really wants all the extras in their skin care, like niacinamide, aloe, tea tree, citrus. I think they might be surprised at how many of us there are who would prefer they leave them out.
Yes! Going to the library is a wonderful thing to do! Relaxing and calming! I wish more people would do it.
I love it when you walk into rooms that we are waiting eagerly within!!! Also I LOvE libraries! I love the peace and quiet and all of the great selections. Everything is basically free when it is extremely expensive at book stores!
One more post: I must have gotten my 0.1% Tretinoin a little to close to my under eyes and it burned the skin a little. I placed the CeraVe ointment under my eyes then 24 hrs later it is back to normal! I buy the CeraVe because of your recommendation!
Candles are very comforting. That’s so true most of the candles that are made overseas aren’t made with cotton wicks, so be aware of that when anyone is out and about looking for a candle🕯 The soy and beeswax candles are lead free and they burn very clean. I have a mug that I use when I’m out with my favorite tea 🫖 Take care everyone
Hi Dr. Dray! Love your videos. Fyi, I bought an I restore a year ago for my daughter and we shared it. She took it to college this fall and I was missing it! Bit the bullet a few weeks back and bought another one. Your DRDRAY coupon code still works! Yeah, saved me some hard earned cash!! Thanks!❤
I really like the Junoskin cleansing balm as part of a double cleanse. It takes off all my mascara and makeup and is hydrating and refreshing. It has slight lemon smell. It did not irritate my rosacea. I didn’t realize it was not cruelty free until I had already purchased it. I also want to try the elf cleansing balm. I am loving elf’s super hydrate and moisture with hydrating squaline. It hydrates without feeling greasy and is claiming to my skin.
My daughter and I always loved the “I Spy” books, they have seasonal ones too. Theyre also a fun mindless way to go to sleep … unless you get wound up trying to find the objects :p
I love those too!
Yay for promoting libraries!!! Remember that whenever our first amendment rights are challenged, from either side, our librarians stand strong for all of us. Support your local 💕
For the past 2 months or so I’ve been making time to go to the library with my sister every two weeks and that would be our girls’ day lol. I’m trying to build a habit of reading things outside of my studies and it’s honestly been hard because of all the distractions but I’m working on it.
