Benzoyl Peroxide for blackheads, whiteheads and acne bumps

Blackheads, whiteheads, papules and pustules can all be significantly improved by using Benzoyl Peroxide.

When you apply BPO it to your skin it penetrates your pores and breaks down into benzoyl radicals and benzoic acid.

The acne causing bacteria c.acnes flourish in a oxygen free environment like clogged pores

No oxygen= increased c. Acnes growth

Benzoyl radicals create oxygen in your pores which kills bacteria and inflammatory cells

While benzoic acid helps to break down oil and dead skin cells to unclog pores

One of the biggest issues with using benzoyl Peroixde is that traditional product formulations caused dryness and irritation however the new INKEY list BPO 5% cleanser is formulated hydrating and barrier strengthening ingredients like glycerin and HA to minimize any potential dryness.
