Yes, that was awful to see a couple of years ago. We have trouble. But many people have generators, fireplaces, very warm clothes. Maybe neighbors or family who might have heat. We’re also not unused to serious cold. It still comes as a shock when we get it. Extended periods of time, like heat waves, are extra rough. You feel like you can’t go anywhere that’s really warm. Thankfully, this artic cold wave won’t last much past Christmas. No snow…but who knows, we’re just getting winter started lol
I live in Houston too. My gas bill is going to be real high. Haha. It’s so cold.

We had 56 degrees this morning at 5am. 45 now, going to drop very fast, very soon. Down to 29 by 5pm. Thirty degree drop in twelve hours
Down to 9 degrees approx by 12 midnight. That’s almost 50 degrees in less than 24 hours. Extremely radical for us.
I had to pause the video, because hail started coming down so loud & fast. It can’t be hail. It’s still 46 degrees.
I’ve been almost wishing for snow lol. We had so much rain non stop. It’s miserable. Drought is gone!

I reviewed the chemical components of Chaga. Wikipedia has some concerning info. It states it has the highest level of oxalates. On the MashroomExpert website, the author states that Chaga has no health benefits and it’s basically snake oil. I found other resources that discuss its benefits however I am not sure of their reliability since chemically it contains a product that can potentially cause kidney damage. What are your thoughts?

Thank you for highlighting products that don’t have hyalauronic acid. My skin does NOT like it, and I have had to jettison so many products because it’s in EVERYTHING now. 😢
The price of the cerave cleansing balm is a joke. I’m a huge fan of the brand but they’re insane to charge that much for essentially a travel size product. Absolutely ridiculous.

I’m on Accutane and I’ve recently gone through a couple bottles of La Roche-Posay Lipikar AP+ Gentle Foaming Moisturizing Wash and their Lipikar AP+M Triple Repair Moisturizing Cream. And I love them❤❤ I’ve also been loving the Neutrogena Clear Face Oil Free SPF 50 Sunscreen
Interested in the Lipikar triple repair cream! How would you compare that to other moisturizers or creams for ex: cerave daily moisturizing lotion or cerave moisturizing cream?
Dr. Dray, my moisturizer has been pilling up lately, when I apply my tretinoin. This makes me wonder if it’s compromising the efficacy of my tretinoin, since everything just balls up and rolls off! I wash my face in the early evening, apply a light serum, and then my moisturizer. Then, I wait several hours to make sure everything is well-absorbed, and apply my tretinoin, just before bed. What am I doing wrong? TIA

your moisturizer has too much silicone (dimethicone, cyclopentasiloxane) in the ingredients, i always find that silicone causes pilling
@binary964 that makes sense. I got it because I have very dry skin and this was touted as a good night cream for that. I wish I knew of a non-silicone one that wouldn’t cause this pilling.
@Rose J try just a light moisturizer like the cerave daily lotion as the buffer and do something like Avene Cicalfate over top. The cicalfate will def help any irritation and keep you hydrated

I overdid it with actives this year and ended up severely damaging my skin barrier. The cerave cleansing balm was the only cleansing balm that didn’t burn my skin but the price/size is comical
