@LCL1979 it’s good to be aware of this. It sure sounds like the average person watching these videos is very judgemental of a person showing this because it looks gross or whatever. People have skin conditions and sometimes have trouble getting proper treatment. Talk about the amount of stigma people must face from these conditions. 😢
Eww that’s just dead skin build-up. I’ve never seen such an amount on someone’s face. She’s washing her hair. Why would she think that her face is different and doesn’t need washing???
I suffered from topical steroid withdrawal several years ago, my skin was so raw during that time it’s like I was having a non stop allergic reaction. I went on a skincare withdrawal for 6 months. And my face had a lot of scabs like hers (more than hers) and most of the scabs came from the oozing I had from TSW. I don’t know if that’s her case.
Absolutely. She herself admitted that she over exfoliated her skin and picked at it. Some people seem to go extreme with their skincare – They go all or nothing. Completely disregarding that just washing face, using a moisturizer and Sunscreen is ALSO a skincare routine!
Why is there a consistent trend of people who stop washing/bathing and tell others on social media that they’re revolutionizing some holistic method?? Like I’m pretty sure ancient peoples survived from having a self care regimen then too 😭
It looks like she did some type of a skin peel and then reconsidered and gave up on any aftercare for the skin. Like she just decided to let it flake off and do nothing.
We all learn something new everyday. Thanks, Dr. Dray. ❤
Wow, I’ve never seen this before!
I watched another video where a nurse commented on this. She mentioned that it can be an issue for homeless people.
Makes sense from what Dr Dray said ~ they wouldn’t necessarily have access to clean water to wash their face

When I get carried away trying too many actives, my 76 yr old dry cheeks burn. Dial back for 2 weeks. But NOT naked; that’s nonsensical 🙄

That is an excellent question.
What’s weird is that she looks like she has nice skin besides the crust
It’s not just regular schmegular dead skin buildup. It’s buildup for someone who has some kind of skin disorder.
@@LiliS319there’s no irritation or scales so it’s just skin flakes
@@LiliS319what skin disorder?

Not even water 💦
Need to learn hygiene
Yuck 🤮
Oh wow 😮 thanks for the info!
I think that looks fake.
it looks like foundation on flaky dry skin
I seldom use soap on my face. I use a hot towel then rinse with cold water
honestly i thought it was just her pranking us while wearing some dream matte mousse foundation
Same 😭
lol it does look like that foundation
The legend will never die. A generation wounded by this foundation.
Ya that’s what I was thinking
Yes it’s likely fake since you can see the issue doesn’t cover her entire skin. It’s not on her lips, on her eyelids and around her hairline
Just mild soap and a simple moisturizer (and sunscreen, of course). That will maintain your barrier without leading to this. There are two extremes.

never use soap but a mild cleanser soap is drying
i thought it was some extremely cakey foundation

Because social media is garbage
Wow that girl is legit just being gross
It’s hard to tell what’s real or fake anymore. Everyone is trolling for engagement.
It looks like she did some type of a skin peel and then reconsidered and gave up on any aftercare for the skin. Like she just decided to let it flake off and do nothing.
If this isn’t trolling, how does she think doing nothing is helping her skin when it clearly isn’t? This can’t be real lol
Well, I won’t be eating cornflakes for a while.. 😄
Diaper cream would heal her barrier overnight. Even better aloe vera or snail mucin then diaper cream then aquaphor
