What is skin flooding? You might have seen people talking about this skincare trend all over TikTok, but should you try it? In my opinion, it's just a fancy term for what is a super hydrating skincare routine. Watch this video to see my version of skin flooding and the "7 skin method" too!

Can you maybe order it online?
We need Naturium shipped to Saudi Arabia 🥺
And in the EU!
This trend sounds dumb to me.
Bischhh!! WHAT!! 😮
Tik tok crazy they think they make everything up. Ive been doing korean skincare ways all hydration for a couple my skin cant handle actives. To where my fine lines are almost gone. Except peptides and cerimides
No my bad twice a week I go in with your bha toner
Help me please. What can I use? I’m almost 43 years old and I need help with my skin care routine. I do live in Texas, and seem to get oily when hot out. Sometimes I wonder if I’m not using enough Moisturizer. My husband goes to Korea for work, often and he has brought me back some great stuff.
However, what do u layer at night?
I’m still confused on what product I can use at home, to do what she just did.
What lipstick are you wearing in the beginning? 🧡
Happy Mother’s day (MX) to you Susan 🎉
MX?
I just love you – and I love you and Nikki La Rose!. I have learned so much from both of you. Nikki turned me on to your Naturium products which I am obsessed with. So happy for you and all your success – keep bringing it!
Fenty skin really have some of the best packaging! It’s amazing, I love their regular cleanser is to thick and rich and only a little bit is needed, literally a pea size is all is needed
I tried skin flooding the other week. Everyone thought I was sweating or just super oily. My mother kept asking me if I was hot . It was not the mood I was going for😅
Love Naturium! ❤ I have been using a bunch of the products, and I am obsessed: the rich cream, retinaldahyde, glycolic acid, lactic acid, vitamin c, peptide moisturizer. They are all so good!
I think that the process isn’t new but the term is. In theory it sounds good. And the way that Susan does it here looks really effective. I think that the focus of the technique is getting in the hydration that your skin needs and locking that in with a moisturizer. It may not be something that you need to do daily though. But just when your skin may need a little extra TLC. I will give it to TikTok and people on social media in general for coming up with names for things that some people have been doing for a while though. Kinda like how I strongly dislike having chapped lips. So I was applying products on my lips at night and locking it in with a thicker product. Then I found out that’s called “lip basting.” I wish I had come up with a name for it myself but it is effective. And I agree with Susan that this isn’t new. I had never thought to apply an essence in multiple layers until I watched a video that Susan did years ago about not applying your skincare when you are on the plane(except if you’re on a long flight and are reapplying sun block). But rather applying your skincare thoroughly before leaving to go to the airport. In that video she applied an essence in multiple layers. I’ve liked this concept since then.
Excellent for people who are prone to dry skin!
The bad editing and annoying zooming is happening again.
I am totally amazed by these layers but I have to be honest that it must be millia’s nightmare though especially with this very thick cream at the end, ouff!! However, I can’t be agree more that deep hydration is one of the keys for a good skin maintenance. 😉 thanks for the demo.
Thanks to James Welsh I do this “trend” actually more or less for years. I have dry skin.
This is how my routine can look like:
☀️
– Cleansing (micellar water or only with water on winter mornings)
– Hydrating toner
– HA Serum
– Hydrating Toner
( – Niacinamide/ Azelaic Acid Serum – if in need
– Hydrating Toner)
– Vitamin C + EGF serum
– Very hydrating, light-weight moisturiser (Omega Water Cream by the Inkey List)
– regular moisturiser (Clinique ID moisturising lotion+ )
– SPF 50
+ lip care
🌙
– Cleansing (double or single cleansing )
– Hydrating toner
– HA Serum
– Hydrating Toner
(when needed:
– skin-barrier serum
– hydrating toner)
– a splurge serum (gift; immortelle reset)
ALTERNATING EITHER
A)
– Ceramide Night Treatment
– 1% Retinol Serum (Super Solution)
B)
– Retinol Serum
– Ceramide Night Treatment
– Omega Water Cream
– another “normal” moisturiser
– hydrating overnight mask
+ lip care
rly love this😍😍
may i ask a qn susan? i heard the sos spray should not be paired with antioxidants cuz the acid in it sorta cancels the effect of the antioxidant? is this true or does it only apply to vitamin c?
This is cool.
I have been watching your content for yrs. Luv Naturium.
I have a silly question.
What’s the difference between plumping and looking puffy / de-puffing?
We hear people use jade rollers, massages, cold spoons, and other techniques to de-puff.
But then we hear after using certain products that the skin is plump, which is described as a good thing.
I think I understand the difference.
But could you explain it because the words seem similar.
Thank you
