Hi Dr dray! Can you discuss the darkness from smile lines? I am currently 26, and have been forming this dark shadow on my smile lines. Is it because I’m a side sleeper?

Any hairdryer will wake people up at night. Personally, I have the Dyson, which I’ve found to be much more quiet than ofher hair dryers. Go to a store that has a display of hairdryers like ULTA to compare how loud one is from another. All hairdryers cause some form of damage since you’re using heat and causing friction amongst hair that’s rubbing against each other while blow drying.

I am starting to think this happened to me because at night after showers I would lay on my bed backwards with my feet elevated up against the headboard because I sat all day at work. I stopped that because in 08/2024 my hair broke off and changed texture. It’s been a nightmare since and I feel so ugly. The struggle has been real.

you don’t have to worry about hair mold unless you don’t wash your hair for a year straight and it’s extremely matted
I went swimming in the river at my cottage when I was younger and was wearing my super-thick hair in a bun. By night time it still hadn’t dried and I started to notice this really awful smell that seemed to be everywhere I went. Eventually I realized my wet hair in a bun had gone moldy with river water that hadn’t been able to dry. It wasn’t the tropics, it was summer in Canada!
I’d love to know your opinion on original udder balm (unscented version) and astec udder balm. Both have pretty simple ingredients and can be purchased in large package size ( less waste)

There was a girl in my choir class in middle school. She has curly hair and smells SO bad. I think she would spray her hair daily and never let it dry.
