#VaselinePartner l’m going to let you in on a little derm secret. When someone comes to me with dry skin, @vaselinebrand is my go-to because it seals in moisture, reducing dry skin. Their All-Over Body Balm Jelly Stick provides the moisture and efficacy you expect from Vaseline in a portable Jelly Stick moisturizer. And no, it won’t clog pores, this is a myth! #mythbusting #mythbustingskincare #skincare #dryskin #vaselinestick #vaseline #dermdoctors

@drdray im in the process of trying to figure out what my red itchy rash is. My dr first throught it was fungal and gave me clomitrizole but the rash got worse and she said its not fungal. She gave me hydrocortisone cream and told me to moisterize, moisterize, moisterize. Then shes going to see if I need to go to a derm for it. Im thinking its eczema. But she told me not to put vaseline on it. Is that accurate? Thanks kindly!💕
i hope things get figured out soon! best to follow advice of your treating doctor
I use Tret. Currently I’m experiencing annoyingburning itching, especially around my nose and nostril area. I don’t use a lot of products, but I’d like to know if niacinamide (which I’m out of) would be a problem? I know to back off of AHA and TRET for a while. Also, if you’re familiar with Fade Bright, I need to order that. Will that be a problem, Dr. Dray? Thank you so much! (I “have” been applying Vaseline.)
I was actually making the tretinoin irritation around my nose because of an occlusive 😅 I was layering it over the tret, which I think was increasing penetration. It definitely got better when I made sure not to layer anything too occlusive over the tret
niacinamide could be the culprit, it is irritating for some
@@DrDrayzday thank you! What about the Fade Bright? It iis an OTC pigment inhibitor?
(I am using The Ordinary Niacinamide at 10%. Is that too high?)

Curious, what are you wearing now over your tret. I might be causing my irritation as well.
@@LaLapin1 I’m just using a regular gel-cream moisturizer that’s less heavy than an ointment
Noooooo! Makes me worse. It will not put moisture into dry skin, it just traps the dry skin, which has to slowly heal underneath the Vaseline. Vaseline makes me WORSE! I need lotion, not oil, and I AM NOT ALONE!!!
I lotion up after shower on damp skin and then use Vaseline or Cerave ointment as needed. But always on my elbows
Wow! Seems like you’re taking this quite personally. Not everything works for everyone.
your struggles are valid. vaseline is my worst enemy and it makes me so sad.
Is this ok for eczema??
yes, eczema friendly
@DrDrayzday thank you
I’ve got this new Vaseline product on subscribe and save with Amazon. I live in the northwest and definitely need it this time of year.
so helpful in the cold
What is the difference between this and the Vaseline Cocoa Shimmer stick? Meanwhile, I’m off to buy the stick you recommended, it’s SO practical for being out and about!
there is no fragrance in this one
Few weeks ago, I went to $1 🌳 and was lucky to find knock off Vaseline sticks.
Remembering what Dr. Dray said, I bought 5 bottles.
It’s been a life saver for my super itchy winter skin.
I have it in the living room, bathroom, bedroom, and my bag.
That’s so cool
very handy
This stick is great on dog paws for winter walking …
I use the stick for face and lips in winter months. 🎉 It isnt the easiest to use on body and hands, though.😢
I love this stick
This is my FAVORITE. I have one for every bag lol
I’ve been layering my lotion first, then Vaseline on top. Game changer! It is surprising how well this hydrates.
Nice! I work w kids and have to constantly wash my hands n use hand sani
This is going be a savior to my poor hands
But the stick costs way too much. A small jar of petroleum is just as portable.
Will this help with my lichen sclerosus?
Hey Dr dray ..my derm has given me clindamycin and adaplene when I had breakouts two months earlier , I had mild cystic acne which has recovered with 20 days antibiotic , clindamycin and adaplene course…
But after that I kept using these gels on and off…or whenever I get a small acne….as a spot treatment….
But now I’m thinking of using them daily till those tubes get empty just as a preventive measure for future acne
Should I use them even I don’t have acne now ??
Vaseline in stick form? Yes pls 🎉
i need this for my face
Dr Dray you look so pretty! I love your hair!
