I really wish colorscience would release more shades of their flex range. Their fair shade is not fair enough for me 😞 if they would expand their shade range properly this would probably be one of the only sunscreens I will use. I love everything about it except the shade

Agreed! It’s an almost perfect shade for me but it’s too warm. I wish they would release it like a foundation line, with an expanded range and different undertones.
Imagine how very dark skinned people feel. Only in the last 2-3 years have many cosmetic formulators/ companies actually started marketing *very deep* brown foundation shades. I only noticed them in Sephora, early 2022, when I started in-store shopping again!! Finding very pale shades is nothing like trying to buy deep, deep browns. Cheers 😏
@Marian Douglas-Ungaro I guess you’ve never tried Mac because they’ve had deep brown shades since the 90s. It is a struggle to find very fair shades. Either the shade isn’t fair enough or the undertone is off or worse yet the color starts off fine but oxidizes throughout the day. I never compared my experience with anyone else’s. I can only speak for myself
I purchased a Cetaphil Deep hydration skin restoring water gel after watching one of your videos, and it’s quite good. Has a bit of COSRX snail feel to it

They taste good
I have used French presses,however, to my mind, I like hand pour over the best. The coffee flavor seems to last longer in the mug when you use a good filter (I like Hario or Chemex). This may also sound crazy, but it seems that the flavor lasts longer in a more “cone” shaped mug (narrower on bottom) than a uniformly wide mug. Sorry you asked?
It’s cold here in the Northeast and I’m nursing a bad cold. Perfect excuse to rest and catch up on my Dr. Dray vids! Bonus: I don’t have to fight the crowds at grocery store! Team French press.
I love your videos, @Dr. Dray. Happy Saturday everyone! I not only learn so much from you, but it’s like a girl’s day out doing the various activities, whether it is shopping, nature walks, car washes (actually found that soothing) with you. Loads of fun. I will say I only cleanse, moisturize and sunscreen (if only I knew then when I was a young girl what I know now as they say), I would have started a smarter skin care routine decades ago! I did try a vitamin C serum on my face, but holy freckles, they popped out like they were cheetah spots and I prefer them faded at my age now! So, just sticking to the basics in my senior years. Thanks again for such fun and learning!

Oh my freckles mine I think have faded I have them on my arms and legs didn’t have have them when I was younger got them from my Dad 🤗, but good to know about vitamin c happy Saturday.
Thank you Dr. Dray for lowering the volume when you use the coffee grinder, blender etc. I hate to scramble trying to lower my volume when I have a video playing and suddenly a sound like this comes on, or some creators will put in music and the volume is suddenly increased significantly compared to when they talk and so on, it’s not great. It’s very considerate of you to think about it! <3
Pour-over: the paper absorbs the acidity and any powdery coffee grinds that would normally end up in your coffee with a french press. Smoother in my opinion. I did French press for about 15 years before pour-over became a thing.
Sarah, the key to avoiding acidity in coffee is temperature. Don’t go over 175˚F. This goes for any coffee. You’ll never go back. Some kettles have preset temps.
@Violet Thank you! Here I thought boiling water poured over would yield fuller flavor, but could not figure out the acidity problem – I thought it was the grind but couldn’t fix it! Looking forward to tomorrow’s efforts.

The ColorScience 3-in-1 is the ONLY sunscreen product I can use anywhere near my eyes. Not even EltaMD. I can even use the 3-in-1 ON my eyelids. You are right about it being really good at brightening. I get better results with this as a color corrector than a lot of other products I have tried, and it is moisturizing.
I was a good ol’ drip coffee maker gal for decades until my family decided to get a Keurig. I dislike the environmental impact of the cups— fortunately the ones I get are compostable/recyclable. I actually have my grandma’s percolator but I haven’t used it! Used to love the smell of coffee brewing in that thing growing up!
You can but reusable stainless steel kcups that you fill with your own coffee
