was waiting for our daily dose of Dr Dray. I just became a mailman with the post office and body acne is my biggest issue and I did take your advice on using benzoyl peroxide in the arm pits and such and I love it I know it may not be a good idea but I did start mixing a little tretinoin with my body moisturizer to put on my chest arms and back to see ow it works out but I was wondering if you had any advice for us who work outside in the heat and sun and sweating all day in the humidity. I love your videos.

I’ve had good luck using peach slices salicylic acid toner on my back when I get out of the shower at night. I was getting some acne there from conditioner and it keeps it clear. Maybe try an SA leave on? Everyone loves Paula’s choice but it’s a lot more expensive.

You’re the one who taught me to put my antiperspirant on at night. You also taught me to wash my under the arms with a benzoyl peroxide wash.

If I could suggest a video maybe one on periods and how the change in hormones can effect the face? For example I have oily skin but on my period the last few months I’ve been flaky and dry just on the week of my period. It would be nice to know what we should prepare for during that time of the month ❤
I’m a shower-before-bed convert. I followed your advice a couple of years ago, and haven’t looked back. I love going to bed clean. It’s easier getting out the door on time too.

I wish I could do that! So jealous of people who can just get up in the morning, brush their teeth, and go. Doesn’t work for me because I get drenching night sweats almost every night – like enough to go through my sheets and blankets and mattress protector and require full bedding changes. I think it’s probably caused by the prolactinoma I was diagnosed with 15 years ago, but no doctor’s ever been able to confirm that or suggest an alternative explanation.

I make a few types of zucchini bread. A lemon one, A chocolate chip one and a cinnamon one. I’ve also made zucchini cookies which taste similar to the cinnamon zucchini bread. I’ve made zucchini muffins too. All are so yummy!
Dr Dray’s advice about wearing antiperspirant at night and washing it off in the morning, combined with her advice about using CeraVe acne foaming cleanser with benzoyl peroxide really is a game changer for me! I don’t have any irritation from antiperspirants, apart from annoyance at the scents, but I really hate the mess antiperspirants leave on the underarms of your shirts. They create a strange, mutant funk (in the words of Jerry Seinfeld) that doesn’t wash out no matter how many times I wash the shirt, and you still sweat a lot despite applying antiperspirant in the morning. But slathering it on at night, washing it off in the morning, and using that benzoyl peroxide cleanser under my arms in the shower for a few minutes before washing it off, means almost no sweating, no smell, and no ruined, stinky clothes!!! I can’t believe it took me 39 years to learn these tricks! I’ve been trying to tell my friends about wearing antiperspirant at night instead, and they look at me like I grew two heads.

I recently discovered Vanicream antiperspirant, and I’m quite pleased with it. I’d been using a Dove product, or a Secret product, that were labeled as unscented, which was true. But both had a masking fragrance that may have been irritating my dry, sensitive underarm skin.
I grew up with showering in the evenings, it’s relaxing and sleep better
