False marketing shouldn’t be allowed, especially for the people of hope
Then no marketing would exist… Neither would many of the institutions that have existed for a while…
Right i am also with this …. I hate unrealistic marketing totally against this. I roll my eyes whenever I see those kind of ads
@ashleyboyd2764 there are many products that work just as they are advertised to…
100% !!!!!
America is a scam country
I trust what you say Dr. Because you are the expert 💙🙏🙏
Once I understood they’re scars, I knew all stretchmark creams are just placebo at best
Thank you for keeping it real !!
I second the comment that said false marketing and misinformation should be illegal!
Snake oil. “A fool and his money, are soon parted”. Oldest trick in the books
I’ve started using retinol and microneedling at 2mm depth every two months, but even with that, I’m keeping my expectations low and just hoping for some restored firmness to the area. Once someone understands what’s happening in the skin to cause these, it makes sense that a cream isn’t gonna fix it.
I remember I was talking with a derm once and she said if she ever invented the cure for warts she would be a billionaire. I think the same thing would be true for the cure for stretch marks.
When something has stretched out, like a rubber band, you can’t unstretch it. I don’t know why people would believe that a cream can magically make it disappear.
Thank you for the facts.
Dr. Dray is trustworthy .
To have the best Cellulite overall appearance, texture, and best overall skin smoothness any Ammonium Lactate Acid is fantastic. 😊
Looking gorgeous, Dr. Dray. Your hair is luxuriously long. Loving the glowy eyeshadow.
Been saying this for years. But my friends still swear that Bio oil prevents stretch marks 🙄, completely falling for the marketing jargon and perpetuating the myth.
Even when you bring up studies on genetics being a key factor for skin aging and stretch marks, people will scream at you that you don’t know what you’re talking about. They’ll always quote knowing a 120 year old grandma that still looks like she’s in her 40’s because of coconut oil and Pond’s cold cream 😂
I think body oils in general do work but very slightly and mostly superficially as long as you keep using them. People need to understand not everything can be cured with topical, at home treatments.
I like stretch marks. They tell a story. They show you’re human. x
Those are my tiger stripes from two kids 😂
I’m proud of them.
I’ve always thought they look like marbled polished wood, beautiful!
I don’t remember mine ever being red. They just popped up one day and they were white like the picture on the right.
Yeah same! It I’ve never been pregnant. I have them on my thighs and boobs. Maybe in those places they form not because the skin was expanding super rapidly but because it was pulled at a weird angle.
Same. I was too young to even notice them, plus they were on the back of my thighs so I never ever noticed until everything was white
Adapalene and amlactin have made mine look so much better. I wasn’t really expecting it. I just discovered that nice benefit trying to get rid of KP on my legs 🤷🏼♀️
I use the lightest Jergens gradual self tan lotion once a week and just that little additional boost of color makes mine nearly impossible to see and overall my skin looks best exfoliated and moisturized, so amlactin is a must for me!
When I was six – Im 61 now. I was climbing to get cereal out of an upper cabinet. I fell and my right leg fell onto the open lower cabinet requiring stitches. The ER doctor told my mom to keep that scar covered and not let a tan on that part of my leg and if she did, I would not have a white scar but that the following year, the scar would tan over. And it did. I took the same approach with my stretch marks. The stretch marks are there. But they’re not white, they are the same color as the rest of my skin – tanned or not. They blend in pretty well all things considered. ❤
