  1. This is a good one! Most cuticle creams are a waste of money but CND Cuticle Eraser is so nice for a pretty homemade manicure. 🥺

  2. Thank you so much for confirming what so many of us have known for decades: moisturized =VASELINE! This has been put on my brothers and me since birth!

  3. I like to use oil, usually vitamin e, on my cuticles and nails first. After the oil has absorbed into the skin I then use vaseline on top of it. Works better for me.

  4. You don’t hydrate cuticle anyway. It’s only dead skin stuck to the nail. You hydrate the Proximal Nail Fold which is the living skin at the back of your nail. It’s good to hydrate it with oil like My Bliss Kiss Simply Pure. If you use a different oil, make sure jojoba (actually a wax ester and not an oil) is the first ingredient as it’s microscopically almost identical to the body’s sebum. It’s molecule is also one of the few that can penetrate a healthy nail. You certainly don’t need to apply vitamins and nutrients topically as these do not penetrate a healthy nail and are just marketing. Source: Doug Schoon, Ana Seidel, and Anna Renata (The Salon Life).

    1. So jojoba oil is better than almond oil for the cuticles? I wish there were studies on this to compare them.

  5. VASELINE is #1 💯
