@@DrDrayzday thank you. I’m feeling okay but there’s so much to do repair wise and other things keep happening I feel that repairmen can do a little better during this time. Trader Joe’s is wonderful! They actually replaced my lost meet at no charge.🙏🙌

DD: Step 1 – remove the nut off of the post that keeps the “kaleidoscope” (the round multi color disc) in place & lift off the disc. Step 2 – remove the 2 screws that are holding the circular metal frame (which is keeping the bulb in it’s place) & lift off. Step 3 – gently pull the halogen bulb up (it’s held in by 2 prongs) – go to hardware store and get replacement bulb. Step 4 – gently replace new halogen bulb aligning the two prongs, replace circular frame holding bulb in place (the 2 screws), and finally replace kaleidoscope back on it’s spindle, put nut back on and gently tighten . . done. Enjoy !!

Take the Scarecrow bottom to a local hardware store. Not a Home Depot or Lowe’s- a local store. They typically have people who will actually help you and replace the bulb for you. It’s my go-to for things I don’t know how to fix.

Don’t remove the color wheel like some have instructed. Simply pull the light bulb upward. There are 2 short pins on the bottom of the bulb that hold it in. That’s it.
I loved the Narnia books too. I read them as an adult. That was a nice looking set you bought.
