I had tomato put on a sunburn once and it seemed to help a lot
Now I know why it burnt when I applied tomato Juice on my face..

It removes tan and brightens skin. It does irritate if you have sensitive skin
What about Aloe Vera? its widely used in health stores to treat sunburns.
I once poured freshly juiced tomato on my skin, rinsed it off immediately and it burned my skin. Skin was red and raw for about a week. I was a teen.
