    1. I’m in the same boat and it’s so frustrating. I’ve tried practically every sunscreen brand and it always triggers my rosacea. Please let me know if you found a brand that works for you. I can get away with Beauty of Joseph sometimes but after 2 or 3 days of use it’d give me bumps.

    2. @@manusiakuat2021seriously yes!😊I could open up a sunscreen store. Lots of $ spent. They all suck! :0

    3. @@imadelrexactly! Same here. So frustrating. I have spent sooo much $ on SS from affordable ones to expensive ones, even the korean ones and the so called sensitive SS are not so sensitive. 😅

  2. Some of these mentioned do trigger my rosacea, but my main culprit is my cranofacial hyperhidrosis 😢

  3. Vanicream cleanser and the gentle moisturizer, on Dr Dray’s recommendation, saved my rosacea skin.

  4. Hot weather is so bad for my rosacea that itchy red pus filled bumps can appear after being 30 minutes inside the car on a hot steamy day, not to mention the cooked lobster appearance (papulopustular rosacea sucks). The redness is totally understandable and expected, but I can’t see why high temperatures make demodex mites on my skin to go crazy like that. At least I got benzoyl peroxide to deal with the bumps but it can be harsh on my skin sometimes.

    1. Does the benzoyl peroxide get rid of the pustules? I’ve been on Azelaic acid / soolantra & the pustules still keep appearing

    2. @@GeorgeMcDougall-gz4tp Yes. But have in mind that YMMV and since it can make the skin quite sensitive, is better to use it if you have your rosacea under control, consult with your derm, do a patch test first, avoid any trigger the day after treatment and stick to low percentages if you’ve never used it before (I used 10% once as an experiment and it did killed the papules and pustules, but left my skin feeling… flayed, for a few days). Epsolay is the one targeted specifically for rosacea, but I’ve read people using Panoxyl 4% and saying it works out well. Azelaic acid is incredibly calming and I love it for that, but it’s been totally useless for the bumps.

  5. @dr dray – how long does it typically take to see results from soolantra? I’m a male suffering from acne rosacea & I’m still breaking out in pustules 6 weeks into using it

    1. @@fenzirulfr did the pustules eventually completely stop? Most of the reviews I’m seeing people said there skin was back to normal after like 2-4 weeks

  6. I use fragrance free skin care products from Neutrogena and Vanicream. My laundry detergent is also fragrance free . Using sunscreen daily protects the skin from the sun. Take care everyone
