I love the lipikar triple repair lotion. It is great for a drug store brand, easy to find, and I haven’t had an eczema outbreak since 2012 using this and lanolin ointment. I love the travel size lipikar at Ulta. I have extremely sensitive skin.
works well!
It cured my eczema when nothing else worked
Yes! This is the only moisturizer I can use on my Perioral Dermatitis prone skin:)
How do you use the lanolin? Do you mix the two together?
I love the eyecream ! I started using it this year because of dermatitis around my eyes and it really helped. However i lived in France and the pricing is really different, i paid around 15€ for the 20ml which was to me a great deal compared to the caudalie reservatrol eye gel-cream.
Nice video <3
Ive been using their dermallergo serum for several years already. This is pure neurosensin at 0.1% . It helped me to control my rosacea and burning feel whenever i put anything on my face. Fortunately i mastered my skincare (I only use la Roche toleriane range for mosturireizer and acid lactic for aha) so I don’t have to use the neurosensin anymore. But i do have it as backup whenever im ready to increase concentration of high irritant ingredient (acid exfoliant/retinol). Also I now use iunik tea extract +centella asiatica for daily soothing as it is more liquid water and faster absorbing, also cheaper price.
Summary for all those with sensitive skin trying to handle the everyday burn and redness: both neurosensin and centella asiatica are ingredients that I absolutely recommend.
I suffer from rosacea and have extremely sensitive skin.
Can I ask you what you use…
Cleanser, serum, moisturizer and spf?
I would be interested to know your cleanser, moisturizer, and spf as well.
Gina, thanks for the info on the Dermallergo serum. Going to check that out!
What other drugstore products contain neurosensin peptide?
Hi, thank you for being conscious that we are broke AF out here!! I, really liked this video, the information and the honesty about the price of the products in comparison to its value and then giving a alternative. The budget friendly suggestion is cherry on top.
I have been using LA Roch Posey’s Toleriane Purifying Face Wash for about a month, prior was Vanicream Face Wash, I trying to find the best fit. Last night I tried the First Aid Beauty Pure Face , wow that was such a soft texture but felt so medicated. My face was very dry afterwards but soft. I went into it for the white tea and feverfew. I’m on the fence, anyone else use this?
Ha! So true… I was a ballerina in a past life, and it definitely sounds like a ballet step. I was also a pianist, and it could also pass for describing the tempo of a piece. Can’t wait to watch this video when I wake up tomorrow! Absolutely love La Roche Posay. Have a good day everyone. 💙
This line is very similar to the old Toleriane line. Both my husband and I love the day cream and find it more moisturising than the night cream, which is odd. We have normal to dry skin. I also really enjoy the eye cream, it’s very moisturising and not irritating.
Thank you so much for you GREAT real life professional advice! I really like La Roche Posay ! And my skin is looking healthier after using these products for over a year! So glad I can keep using their more affordable products and not feel like I’m missing out! Dr. Dray you are the best! 🥰
Dr. Dray. Thanks for the vids. I’m an older guy, always took care of my skin but i’ve learned a lot. and you helped me find effective affordable, cleanser, retinol, exfoliator, moisturizer, & sunscreen (For my basic routine.) Just yesterday, I watched an older vid about whether Glycolic acid is good for people of color with darker skin tones. Thanks for that info. Sidenote, love the dollar tree, up&up/equate testing. Curious about the Amazonbasics & equate retinol clones of Cerave.
I’ve been using Eucerin for extra dry skin. It’s less money and works for me so far. It’s cold here and I had a lot of problems with the wind burning my face.
Eucerin products are amazing!
I thought i was sensitive to niacinamide because i introduced a niacinamide cream into my routine. Turns out my skin barrier was damaged. It stung when i would apply it. I stopped everything and just had a simple routine of gentle cleanser, low ingredient moisterizer and spf, for a couple weeks. Once my skin felt better I tired niacinamide again and now it doesnt sting at all. For anyone who tries niacinamide and it stings look into healing your akin barrier and trying it again once its healed. Hopefully it works for you too.!
Another derm has also said it could be due to formulation. She mentions citric acid possibly being an issue. Someone else also mentioned propanediol.
I love the Lipikar Eczema Cream. It has colloidal oatmeal, niacinamide, shea butter, mineral & canola oil. Soothes eczema (no need for topical steroids) and doesn’t bother my seb derm & rosacea. This is my only daily niacinamide dose. Ty, Dr Dray! ❤️
I’ve been using the LIPIKAR AP+ wash & moisturizer on my face for a few years. They’re my go to, particularly at night in the winter.
With groceries at $80 a basket; we appreciate the budget consciousness. Thanks again, Dr. Dray!
Dr. Dray, this line sounds fantastic for soothing the skin. It is nice to know the definition of sensitive skin; it really explains my symptoms and why the skin feels this way. Your mane of hair is looking fantastic, and the background refresh is on-point. 🌺 Cheers
I’ve been using the toleraine line for years and love it. I have had no problems with pilling. Use the regular moisturizer in the winter and the oil free in the summer.
il free in the summer.
I tried the night moisturizer and I didn’t find it very hydrating. I started using the Lipikar AP+ and it’s my new favorite! My skin is so hydrated. I love the Toleriane Double Repair moisturizer with sunscreen too. LPR is amazing
Hey Dr. Dray, just wanted to how grateful I am for your channel and content. I have used so many of your recommendations and tips and it’s crazy lol all of it helps, you are like the magic doc 💗
I’m also a big fan of the Lipikar Triple Repair Moisturising Cream. Love it on my body and on my face. This doesn’t aggravate my rosacea and works well under sunscreen and makeup.
Many blessings!!💖💖💖
I use the moisturizer for my 5yo son mostly throughout the winter months. He’s got really sensitive skin that gets dry and flaky very quickly. Works great. We tried other moisturizers but nothing worked that well. When he had eczema on his eyelids, the dermatologist recommended the eyecream but it didn’t help much. Now we just use the moisturizer twice daily
The only thing I’ve tried by this brand so far is the toleraine Clarifying facial wash for normal to oily skin and it’s pretty good! I definitely wanna try more things from this brand in the future ❤
