  1. I would need to see it in clumps in the shower to truly understand what is a normal amount and what is not.

    1. Tracey there’s supplements you can take to help restore your hair growth. I would suggest a concentrated fish oil supplement. A special zinc/collagen supplement that should promote hair growth. I’d say a probiotic a premium one every day, iron if you’re low. And vitamin d. (I take all these myself and have hair down past my waist plus lots of auto immune dieases) Shedding hair can be hormonal, can be environmental (stress) can be nutritional (lack of) or can be a combination of all three. I shed alot because of my thyroid issues and diabetes but the supplements truly help me. I am a strong believer in high quality supplements.

  2. My doctor (she’s generic doctor) told me it’s abnormal when you can see too much of your scalp

    1. Your doc is right, losing 200 hairs everyday is an issue i used to lose that many and i started balding over time thankfully i treated my vitamin deficiency and i only lose 30 hairs only each wash if i shower everyday.

  3. Interesting! Dr Dray would u do an episode on why some of us have very different skin texture left vs right side—how much truth in sleeping position as cause ? Or holding head in hand ( like I do while I work ;) My left side is a mess—right side pretty good -I’m a side sleeper on a firm bamboo pillow with silky case 🤷🏻‍♀️

  4. I used Bath n Bodyworks Body cotton candy shower gel (emergency) on my hair to strip my hair of dark dye when it was too dark (instead of tide like hair dresser friend said) I lost 80% of my thick curly long hair over three months. Last Sept. The texture is way straighter and still breaks. But Miele oil and biotin pills are helping, and Im getting my curls back, plus I switched to Wen. Taking pictures every wash for difference comparison. I was dumb for it. Plumber made lots of money unclogging drains of my hair tho!😂

  5. I recall telling my father this once. He gasped that he’s screwed since he only has about 200 hairs.

  6. as someone who washes their hair once a week (and brush only wet) i can say that sometimes it is a bit overwhelming seeing that much hairfall in the shower but then i remember that it had enough time in those 7-8 days to make about 800 strands max 🤣🤣

  7. I wash my hair every 3-4 days, and the big ball of hair that I lose each time freaks me out. I’m surprised I have any hair left.

  8. In my wiser years my hair is definitely thinning and feels so frazzled, although my actual scalp is not dry. Any suggestions for my sad hair?
