  1. Holy cow! This is the craziest fad I’ve heard since the eating the placenta fad. 🤦🏻‍♀️

  2. I started taking Colostrum 2 years ago at the suggestion of my functional medicine practitioner. It has done absolutely nothing after all this time. I tried diff brands and dosages and took it religiously daily. What a waste of money.

    1. Every experience I’ve had with a functional medicine practitioner has been absolute crap. Unfortunately I’ve decided most are just quacks. 😢

    2. @@lalablotz7348you have to find a functional medicine doctor that lies somewhere in the middle. I was able to find one who also took my health insurance which was great. Some of the things they say I kind of side eye but they have never denied me actual medication if I request it. They also will put in labs for me whenever I ask and will put in requests for mri or other tests I need without giving me a fight. Regular doctors are a pain and full on functional med docs are a little too herbal dependant.

  3. Taking it from animals is so cruel 😢 it’s the first time (sometimes the only time) the mother can feed her baby. I can’t. Different level of abuse. I pray it won’t become a thing in the future. Unless they find a way to make it in a lab or something

    1. The milk goes to waste, so using it for these supplements is so beneficial , I am 6 months in to consuming this and I feel better, sleep well, stomach feels better, hair growth- so don’t knock it till you try it. Your vegan lifestyle can’t last or sustain you. Many vegans have unhealthy guts bloating and gas because your gut biome is so messed up from eating plants

  4. Poor babies that are gonna go without this nutrition just so somebody can slather it on instead of ALL the other products that are available.

  5. OMG. What is next?? I nursed both of my girls, who are now adults, but the thought of consumming it now from an animal, truly makes me nauseous. Im vegan, so I would even dream of taking this supplement. Even if I wasn’t, I physically couldn’t take it internally. Between this and the AG1 greens, I can’t listen to one more influencer rave about these products. Thank you so much, Dr Dray for presenting this video!!❤

    1. What’s next? Well she did say lactoferrin was present in nasal secretions, so maybe we start seeing influencers rubbing snot all over their faces XD

    2. Hi. Just wondering about your opinion on AG1 greens. I bought it but it tastes disgusting. I can drink the pre test stuff before a colonoscopy with no problem!! Thanks!

  6. Early breast milk with no doubt,it can be extremely beneficial for the babies no matter the species (human or animal). As most mothers say “colostrum is like providing not only food for my baby but also protecting it by gifting with an invisible shield (aka colostrum that has been shown to demonstrate such kind of properties)”. Thank so much Doctor Andrea for the information it is really fascinating 😊❤.

  7. Thanks Dr. Dray for your vlog! I’m reading ingredients AND checking for your review/comments before I consider usage.

  8. Leave the colostrum for the babies! I’d rather try an alternative, seems unethical and surely colostrum is made in relation to what IT’S OWN baby needs and not a random adult

  9. My hair dresser raves about colostrum for balding/thinning she had around her hairline. She swears by it. I never asked where it’s taken from 😮

  10. Im not even a vegan or anything but can we just leave the poor animals alone. Absolutely no way that it’s worth the vanity.

  11. OMG all these influencers pushing this crap. It just needs to stop. The thought of colostrum makes me nauseous 🤢

  12. The thought of taking such precious nutrients from the mother that are meant for a newborn is kind of heartbreaking to me. Not to mention the efficacy is questionable. I’ll just stick to retinoids and sunscreen, no crisis of conscience there.

  13. Thanks for the informative video, Dr. Dray. I think you should look into reaching out and speaking with Dr. Sarah Rahal on this topic- she’s a double board-certified adult and child neurologist, who *created* the Armra Colostrum product to help heal her internal issues. It would be nice to hear you both discuss exactly what you spoke about on this video.

  14. As a veterinary technician, I know how important it is for newborn animals to get colostrum to help them thrive. Are animals being bred just for the colostrum to put in skin care? Sorry, but this bothers me. I appreciate you opening my eyes to this, Dr Dray. I didn’t even know this was a thing. Thanks as always. Happy Wednesday! I hope you have a lovely evening. 💜
