I’ve been using it on my lips after cleansing for months followed by Eucerin lotion and my dry lips are now a distant memory. I don’t even have to wear lip balm anymore ❤

Have rosacea and must be careful what I put on my face and being 67 isn’t of help. I use a small amount of
Arrow Head baking water and filtered water to exfoliate with gently circular massaging techniques.
Love the Alpha lotion. I rotate between the Alpha, the Gold Bonds overnight Retinol lotion and Amlactin.

The Alpha Skincare Glycolic is good, but, fyi, thick. I use it in the winter.
Does it feel greasy or like u have lotion on ?
@@dolphinswilltakeover Not greasy at all. Very hydrating, like a cream, and I have learned not to apply too much, since it’s thicker.
I love using that on my feet! Then I put a heavy lotion on my feet and put socks on. The next morning my feet are baby soft.
I can handle this on my face and body however I don’t like the “greasy” feeling it leaves behind. Panoxyl’s salicyclic acid liquid exfoliator and PC’s salicyclic acid felt the same way. I do better with rinse off formulas.

For my super oily skin, glycolic acid is the most comfortable I feel about moisturizing. Anything beyond that feels greasy.
Have you tried the Byoma hydrating serum? It has ceramides so I find it very nourishing + healing for irritated areas of skin (like flaking around my nose). I have combination skin and I find this one very lightweight

i used this toner as a deodorant during the craze for it. it worked beautifully for a couple of months but then it made me STINK. it gave me a stench i’ve never experienced before that would appear almost immediately after showering and projected extremely strongly even with the tiniest amounts of sweat. so be careful everyone. it took about a month for it to balance itself out and go away after i stopped using it.
won’t the hydrophobicity (water hating) of a given lotion (no matter how high of an H2O (water) content it has) prevent the glycolic acid (hydrophilic) to reach the cell surface? the whole point is to use hydrophilic (water loving) products first, then hydrophobic, to make sure the hydrophobicity doesn’t do its job, aka repel H2O, at the wrong time.

I love that you mentioned this. I use glycol acid toners &/or serums on my face, neck, & decollete area. I ALSO use a few different body lotions, one with just salicylic acid, one with Glycolic acid and Lactic Acid, and one with all three. My favorite is the one with just the Glycolic & Lactic. It works INCREDIBLY and i got it off of Amazon. There is a more expensive name brand version to this, but I LOVE saving money any time i can, so I found a cheaper 100% Dupe. Its from brand “PLANET EDEN” and its called “Gly-Lactic Exfoliating Lotion”. It has a total of 20% acid, 10% Gly. 10% Lac. & this packs a PUNCH!! Its stronger than the name brand one that is twice the price and it is ALSO hydrating while i did not find the expensive one to be that way. It is out of stock right now on Amazon, but i believe they have a website and this seems to be a good seller, so im HOPING they will get more back in stock soon. USE WITH CAUTION and do not EVER use right AFTER shaving. If you NEED to use it on shave day, i recommend using a highly hydrating lotion right after drying off. Waiting a few hours for that to fully absord, THEN use the lotion. Same goes for the days you use any sort of phsyical exfoliating towels/gloves/etc during your wash. Because you WILL feel a DEEP STING that lasts a WHILE. So, I only use this on non-shave days. But this is the best i have found so far. A little goes a long way. I have also mixed it with PLAIN cocoa butter lotion and it gave me no sting but still provided the perfect amount of exfoliation with MORE hydration. Hope this helps someone!
Are people not getting a basic education? The concept of chemical reactions is super simple to grasp and obtain at an early age, and it was definitely taught to me in like elementary school.
