  1. Watching a video on hair growth on the head right after shaving 🪒 my head = Channel follower’s loyalty. 👍🏻

  2. I had to learn it the hard way how much hair extensions damage your hair. I had finally long hair but wanted just a bit more fullness and so went for hair extensions. When they took them out I just cried because so little of my hair was left hahah

  3. I tried out tape in extensions for about 3 months due to lack of volume. Too much maintenance, cost and a nightmare removing them-OMG. Some of my own fragile locks went bye-bye. No thank you.

  4. There are different types of hair extensions for sure. I remember seeing the bonded/glue in ones when I was at the salon one time. All I could think of is how that would pull out your hair especially if you weren’t getting it done professionally and the cost of upkeep. Most of us have seen weaves/sew-ins and even the badly done clip-in kind amongst others.

  5. Not knowing how CRUCIAL it is for overall health to have good levels of vitaminD, such as: more hair! Took me 6 months of 4000units of supplementation to increase my levels to bare minimum numbers (from 10: extremely low, to 36: bare minimum).

  6. My dermatologist in the UK recommended Minoxidil foam to kick-start growth, with the idea of stopping after a while. That worked for me, haven’t needed to use it since 🤷‍♀️

  7. Biggest hair regret: listening to natural hair influencers back in the mid 2010s as they fear-mongered (likely through misinformation and/or good intention) the use of sulfates and silicones on our hair type (silicones = buildup; sulfates = dryness and breakage). I spent years buying those more expensive, “natural ingredient” containing shampoos that made my scalp oily and itchy and insufficiently cleansed my hair, and avoided silicones…at the expense of great slip and moisture! Had I known this 10 years ago when I went natural (stopped using chemical relaxers), I would’ve been scrubbing my scalp with garnier fructis every 4 days like I do now!

    1. Same! 🙌
Also that you can train your hair to be less oily
Lol I have always had oily hair (thanks mom and dad) and it is worst now

  8. The red light hair device, my question is how does the red light penetrate through the hair to the scalp?

    1. I mean if the assumption is that you’re using it to regrow thinning hair, the scalp is already sparser and has plenty of empty space overall for the light to reach it. But I’m pretty sure the light can pass the hair at that distance and intensity— if you take your phone flashlight and press it up against your hair you should be able to see the glow through it.

  9. Great info ❤ I had hair loss after a surgery in 2023. I was scared until I saw a derm on here explaining how stress to the body can cause excess shedding! Thank you for sharing the good news! 😊

  10. I used to go by the curly girl method. I bought expensive shampoo and conditioner; I stopped brushing or combing my wet hair (yes, this was a rule), and didn’t blow dry my hair. My scalp itched and it got so pricey to buy professional shampoos. I stopped doing that and my scalp feels normal again.

    1. Well honestly….I have curly hair and I never brush my hair after showering nor do I blow dry it. It just looks ridiculous if I do 😅

    2. Well honestly….I have curly hair and I never brush my hair after showering nor do I blow dry it. It just looks ridiculous if I do 😅

    1. Pantene and L’Oréal used to be the DEVIL..especially Pantene. Maybe that was just me (now i literally use a mix of Pantene and L’Oréal 😂

    2. @rasaagresti1268 really? Growing up, Pantene and L’Oréal were fancy. My family used Pert and Suave. XD

  11. Salon shampoos and conditioners can be so nice but I cannot afford to spend that kind of money as a frequent washer. I love drugstore haircare and my hair is still healthy and growing. 😊

    1. If it works, it works! I’m a firm believer in that. And I’m a long time hairdresser of 40+ years. And yes, professional products are so expensive.

    2. One of my faves was Suave Humectant. Now that it has been discontinued I’m back to Nexxus. Still pricey but not as much as some of the newer haircare brands. I rarely get my hair done professionally so in the end it probably balances out the cost 😂

  12. Biggest mistake-thinking that expensive shampoos and conditioners would do something that pantene and dove cannot😂 back to the basics and my very fine curly hair feels amazing

  13. Biggest hair regret- expecting Head and Shoulders to cure my dandruff in a day or two, and then switching to another shampoo when it didn’t.

I have been using it daily for a few months now and my dandruff has completely gone. Who knew that you had to actually give it time to work? 😂 I had dandruff for years!

  14. I went to a trichologist when my hairloss became more than I could handle. She prescribed a laser cap, minoxidil and the use of her hair care products which contained saw palmetto. The products were expensive and did not promote scalp health for me. When my year long program was over I did have some improvement, but not as desired. I listened to Dr. Dray about shampooing with Head & Shoulders. Washing my hair every other day with Head & Shoulders really improved my scalp health allowing more hair to grow in.
