This information is very helpful in managing sensitive skin with Rosacea. My skin care routine is simple using fragrance free products which help soothe my skin with Rosacea. I’ve been using the Neutrogena Ultra gentle cleanser for years – I love it 🥰 A few favorites from Vanicream that I love as well – the Moisturizing lotion and SPF 30 😊 I use fragrance free Laundry soap, change my towels and satin pillow case every few days. Take care everyone 🌹
Glad it was helpful!
It’s like you are reading my mind and I’m not mad about it
Addressing all the multiple aspects of rosacea by incorporating a steady schedule that targets these causes is essential 😊❤. Thank you so much doctor Andrea for pointing that one out ❤.
Happy Wednesday!
Thank you for addressing redness ❤
I swear, since the first time I have watched one of your videos and heard you recommend Vanicream, my skin has never been happier. THANK YOU DR DRAY!!!!
I’m so glad!
Agreed! Vanicream is amazing!
Same here!
I had a terrible whole face breakout last week.. after some sun exposure for about twenty minutes! And it looked exactly like the photo you used in 6:07. I’ll be equipped with an umbrella and spf 50+ whenever I’m going out now. Thank you Dr. Dray for all the useful info
Another tip from someone who has rosacea: Wait about 20 minutes for your skincare to dry down before using sunscreen, this will help with stinging from sunscreen.
Been doing this since a couple of days cause I saw it in a different video
And it helps soooo much!
Great tip~and something I learned the hard way. 😊
Thank you for this advice, because i avoid sunscreen as it often burns my face
I was prescribed a triple cream (15% azaelic acid, 1% metronidazole, and 1% ivermectin) and it helped improve my rosacea so much that these days I’m able to manage most of my symptoms with tretinoin + aveeno calm and restore products, which I’ve seen you recommend along with my derm – love your rosacea videos!! 😊
Also the cerave hydrating foaming oil cleanser I believe you recommended some time ago is a godsend for sensitive skin but is actually able to remove makeup and sunscreen!!
2nd here. My type 2 rosacea is more resilient against triggers using this triple cream. It’s also softer. A symptom I never hear mentioned is skin roughness from chronic inflammation. Lotion and foundation would never blend in, settling in pores. Not anymore!!
❤ thanks as usual. I like it when you go into full on doctor mode like this. But then again, I love to see the cute PJs and the Saturday afternoon, shopping trips.!! 😊
I am so incredibly miserable going outside in 96 degree heat with my rosacea so seeing this really made my day! You are such a godsend! Thank you thank you thank you Dr. Dray!!!
Have you tried one of those neck fans? I live in FL and I might get one. Good Luck~ I save thousands from never needing to buy blush😊
It’s a relief to hear Dr. Dray talking about the brand Minimalist. Please review some more Minimalist products. It would be of great help to us Indians. ❤
Thank you for addressing what will actually help the redness. So many times I see people say “use xyz product or ingredients to help with Rosacea” but it just helps with the bumps, not the persistent facial flushing and no one explains that fully. So I would try the different products thinking it would help the redness but it didn’t get any better. It wasn’t until I finally was able to get into dermatology that I was prescribed a bimonidine compound that actually helped.
I was in denial about my rosacea diagnosis for like 6 months. It took a long time for me to find my perfect skincare routine but I’m so so happy now. All hail La Roche Posay idk what id do without them
I second this!
I don’t suffer with rosacea, but I still enjoy learning about it along with treatments. Happy Wednesday, Dr Dray! I hope you have a peaceful evening. 💜
I have rosacea and what help me a lot is azelaic acid, arnica, centella and cream with zinc oxyde. Just focus to have a healthy skin only..
Your lighting, background, and vocal tone has improved tremendously in this new environment. Great work, Dr Dray! Thanks 😊
I have had rosacea for about 40 years and have seen several dermatologists over the years and not one has given up much information except for telling me to use sunscreen and the meteo gel RX. I appreciate your giving us such a good understanding of products as well as the causes of many problems. There are very few dermatologists that take the time to educate. Thank you for that.
I had two years of immunotherapy and one of the side effects are skin issues, something that has caused me a lot of issues. It has been two years since my last infusion and I still battle skin problems. In my experience, not many doctors are up on this problem. It has been quite an experience.
I watch your content every day and my favorite videos are the long-form deep dives into a specific condition like this one on rosacea. You’ve taught me SO much Dr. Dray. Thank you!
