Fair skinned people are at more risk. My dad had several removed from the areas he got the most sun. Those with more melanin are meant for longer periods of sun exposure.
There’s literally a brand of sunscreen called Black Girl Sunscreen, created and owned by a black woman, meant for anyone/black people (since it specifically doesn’t give a white cast).
This brand exists bc it’s a huge myth that black people don’t get skin cancer. They do. And they should wear sunscreen.
Am I just bad at science or wouldn’t our higher rates of skin cancer also have something to do with the ozone layer depleting? Like is that just dumb? Honestly, I feel like that’s a factor.
The ozone layer only depleted because of the chemicals used in the manufacturing of vintage refrigerators (refrigerators came during 1913, so not long ago). There’s a video from Hank Green explaining how the United Nation came together, saw the issue, and resolved the issue by banning said chemicals.
You aren’t wrong as the ozone layer depleting is definitely a factor, as the first sunscreen came around 1946, but I do believe when these people refer to our “ancestors”, they’re really referring to our primitive ones 😅 yk like cavemen and what not
Tierd of these podcasters that just start a subject, not correctly discussing the subject and not having or carefully thought knowledge about it. Thank you for making videos like these.
😂😂😂 he forgot that little detail

People with more melanin are still at risk of sun damage and skin cancer.

Try again Caroline
Also they had body hair. Only humans have exposed skin.
He looks so sunburned 🪦 💐
😂 look I’m not tryna be mean at all but he definitely looks weathered. He needs sunscreen for sure.
@@kori-leefowler2312idk which is more weathered him or that wig
they should say that to my gf, who got skin cancer before the age of 20
Genetic predisposition

I was thinking the exact same thing
That’s exactly it

I dont trust anyone whos hair looks like it came with the hat
That’s equally ignorant
I’m not taking any advice with someone wearing a bank robber wig under a hat. 😂
Right!!?? What is that thing? They make realistic wigs for men, why is he wearing that thing 😭
Yeah when he’s “shut in” indoors lol what a turkey
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I was looking for this comment 😂
HAHAHHA
And maybe they just didn’t know what skin cancer was.
People should educate themselves about a lot of things, and life expectancy throughout the history of mankind is one of them.
Plus windows exist. You can literally see the difference between the drivers side arm and the passenger side arm on long haul truckers.
If you are lucky, you won’t get any skin cancers. The question then is “is luck enough for you?”
People also died without knowing why and most people weren’t keeping death records. The lack of common sense kills me.
I wish I was more attentive to my skin health over the years. Now as a 60-yr old, I”m paying the price w. Second EFUDEX treatment.
Thanks for calling these people out! Especially the ones who have the “looks” to successfully market such absurdities
Those unqualified weirdos are actually dangerous. People should report them.
I liked the look you came out with. In the Fiesta palette I expected a couple bright colors like an orange and purple! 😊
