I was at Epcot 40 years ago…. It wasn’t completely finished. I’d love to go back. I was too young to appreciate it!!

The “Orange bird” is actually from @ 1968/1969 !! …. and has been the mascot of Florida Oranges. There are Disney cartoons with Orange bird (He thinks words, dosnt talk) and little Golden books of Orange bird. He IS adorable Vintage Disney.. hasn’t gotten the recognition he should.
I remember him and associated him with Florida 🍊 oranges. 💗 So cute so vintage.

Soarin is my favorite ride EVER! And the technology behind it is so simple.
I remember when they opened the Countries. Each month was a different Country and they had people come for a month and stayed at the hotel I worked at on International Dr. They each did something from their country and had shows / performances. Germany had dancers. Most of them were the nicest people ever and were so happy to be here and a part of the first year of Epcot.
Soarn is my fav💖👍🏼. Disney food is really really good, great options and fresh. Had my doubts but was pleasantly surprised 😂🎉 💗Dr. Dray & Disney😄
