  1. I had a milia on my forehead for months until I started using Neogen wine exfoliating pads. After using it twice, the milia was gone! Definitely recommend giving it a try, especially if the milia is not in the sensitive eye area. It’s also good for flaky skin and quicker healing of acne scars. I use it twice a week now, which seems to be a good frequency for my combination skin.

  2. I’ve had milia right in the corner of my under eyes since I was a little girl. I didn’t know what they were until maybe 10 years ago (I’m 35 now). I’ve never gotten them anywhere else on my face, and it doesn’t appear to be from any products… purely genetic. It’s such a bummer since because it’s in such a vulnerable area, I can’t really even treat it with acids. Oh well. It’s not the end of the world, but since I love skincare and anti-aging treatments and really value taking good care of my skin its so frustrating to have an issue that there seems like I can do absolutely nothing to resolve.

  3. Renee, thank you! Another skin-care slam dunk, home run, all around wonderful video. Thank you and keep them coming! We will be waiting.

  4. OMG, so glad you are back! I’m literally just realizing I have milia. They are clustered in my dark circles, so wearing concealer has become an ordeal. So many weird recommendations on YouTube. Thank you for this very detailed video.

  5. Well this is a timely video! I’ve suffered with milia my whole life but didn’t know what they were or what caused them until this year. I literally went to a med spa to get some of them extracted for the first time TODAY!

  6. I get milia in the area at the end of my eyebrows. It started happening about five years ago so around age 39. They don’t form into “seeds” like most ppls. When they are removed they come right back. I’m also getting skin tags in under my eyes. My sister and Mum both have it in the exact same area, so frustrating.

  7. I’d love to see a video on vitamin c creams, more affordable one and high end one combined. 😃
I finally feel like I have a good skin care routine down thanks to you and all your wonderful information! ❤️ I always would get confused when to Apply what and I finally feel like I understand that. Also the 7 skin method has made such a huge difference! Thank you so much for sharing all your knowledge!

    1. I also just ordered the secretkey rose edition essence and so excited to give it a try! Along with the heimish cleansing balm 😄 I have heard amazing things about the SK-ll essence but could never afford it and the secretkey essence really intrigued me 😁

  8. I LOVE THIS VIDEO! I’ve read about milia and had a few ideas as to handle it, but this is so much more concise and straightforward! Thank you very much for your help and experience!

  9. Oh thanks, Renee, for the review on Dr Gross’ eye serum. I’ve been using his Retinol + Ferulic peel pads this last month, a couple of times a week, and have been circling around the purchase of the eye serum for my very genetic deeply frustrating undereye milia. The pads, btw, are a very nice treatment, and a good addition to any regiment that includes his daily aha/bha peel pads. I’ve been told by a few estheticians that skin that is predisposed genetically to milia should be careful about using undereye products that are too heavy because it can exacerbate clogged pores. If I use undereye concealers that are more waxy than creamy, and/or waterproof, I can count on seeing new milia shortly after. Same goes for any undereye creams that are especially heavy on the emollients. Using retinol products has reduced the appearance of the milia clusters somewhat, but there is a trip to the dermatologist to have them treated in my future.

  10. This was so informative and useful!!! Love the fact that you had high AND low end recommendations. Thank you for your hard work, Renee!

  11. Thank you for posting this video. I’ve been dealing with milia for years. Microdermabrasion used to help but my skin became to sensitive for home microdermabrasion kits. Learned from you how to use oils, it really helped with dryness of my skin. I look forward to trying acid toner and perhaps some retinol instead of scrubs.

  12. This is so true ever since I used The Ordinary Glycolic acid and rosehip oil I noticed my milia literally just came off! It took a few weeks and it definitely was a surprise result. I couldn’t believe it I thought I would be stuck with them forever since everywhere I read said you can’t get rid of them unless you go to a dermatologist. Amazing.

    1. @meh eh hi sweetie..one rule for me and they have not returned ..Thank god..is use products that cost more..I always now use a mosturizer..and vitamin c..If anything visit your nearest mall and get some samples..until you find the right mosturizer that works for you…

    2. @meh eh use a face wash before anything hun..and then apply your acid..and vitamin c..and then a mosturizer in the morning and at night..

  13. Hi! I’ve had severe milia ever since I was a kid and was told by several dermatologists that it can only be removed by laser, so I had given up on trying out new products. However, your video made me think I might have just one more go. I am an absolute novice to a lot of things concerning cosmetics, so I have a question: can I use acids in the summer? The ones I have say I should avoid direct sun for a couple of days after using it. If I use it a couple of times a week, this means avoiding sun always. I am cautios and use strong suncscreen and don’t sunbathe, but the sun is quite aggressive in the spring and summer… Thanks in advance!

  14. This is the most concise and informative video on this problem I have seen. I have one that has recurred on my cheek in the exact same spot for years. I know it is a milia and not something else because I’ve had it removed by an esthetician and it came right back. Also have one on the upper lip very deep beneath the skin that seems to be permanent as well. Very frustrating spot! Will try the targeted glycolic to see if that helps. Thanks!

  15. Your skin does not look dehydrated. I definitely see some natural sebum production and I can tell you take an active approach to your own personal skin care, which is very important. Thanks for sharing what’s worked for you so far. It’s probably a bit overkill for me because I have combo oily but very sensitive skin and I suspect the acids and the exfoliating could be contributing to the irritation. I developed milia because of a creamy eye cream (ponds) that I picked out for my grandmother right around when I had hit puberty. But I hate when people ask about my skin because it’s like what works for you may not work for me, so I’m glad you have the time& patience to share all that you’ve tried so far! Very candid and concise :)

  16. Thank you for the great recommendations! I have dehydrated, sensitive and milia prone skin as well, even around my forehead. Do you have recommendations for face moisturizers that are anti-aging and hydrating?

  17. I literally have hundreds of milia over both cheeks, chin and forehead. There’s no clear space without milia. I’ve had them for 20 years and I’m sick of seeing them. My dermatologist told me it was caused by sunburn. I’ve damaged the follicles all over my face. The only place I don’t have them is around the eyes 😥 He told me there is nothing I can do to get rid of them.

  18. Hi Renee, I just wanted to share with you my experience with milia. I started getting them a few years back, but they got significantly worse about a year ago. I watched many videos to find a solution, including yours. Anyway, I bought a cleansing facial product that I love and because of one of the videos I watched said that you need to slightly exfoliate the skin where milia forms, I started doing that with this cleanser. I’ve noticed a 70% reduction of the milia I have under my eyes in just one week. I’m so happy. The product I’m using is called Environ cleansing gel. Thanks for the videos.

  19. Hi Renee! I found your YouTube and loved your channel. I’m still new to figuring out a good skincare routine. I tried to see a dermatologist but unfortunately I can’t afford a consultation locally and my insurance doesn’t cover it as it’s considering it as a cosmetic consultation. So I’ve been doing lots of research and that’s how I found your channel. I suffer from milia and I want to try and see if I can minimize to having it gone completely with good home treatment. I wanted to ask if you can recommend a few products to start with as I’m unsure what to start with especially with lots of products. I’d appreciate any feedback or help. My milia is under my eye and I also have puffiness and dark circles.

  20. for those who failed to get the same result, I think it was because you have sensitive skin & your skin was having allergy reaction. not all solutions fit for everyone. It’s all about trials and errors.
