Maybe take additional time to question where your beauty products are made and hiw they are tested.. to ensure you use Cruelty free’.. non slave made products…
This is a simple but good message! Just the other day I was thinking about all the skincare ingredients, product types, processes and tools that are blasted right and left. Vitamin C, ahas/bhas, retinol, hyaluronic acid, squalene, essences, toners, oil cleansers, physical exfoliants, masks, serums, slugging, double cleansing, dermaplaning, facial roller/gua sha usage, on and on and on. Even if one were to buy all of those things, it’s terribly confusing to know what order and how often to do/use it all! I’m a fan of accessible, affordable, simple, does-the-job, time-tested products like CeraVe and Cetaphil gentle cleansers and moisturizers, Ponds cold cream (for makeup removal), BioOil (for when I want a bit more of a supple skin feel), and an Olay SPF. Is there anything wrong with sticking to those time-tested classics? I always have some type of clay mask product for occasional use. The ONE “modern” update is a chemical exfoliant (salicylic acid plus some other aha/bhas). Although I’ve never had issues with my well-loved physical exfoliant, I’m going with the idea that a chemical exfoliant is more gentle (and maybe more effective?) than exfoliation via physically sloughing off dead skin. Does anyone have product recommendations for someone like me, whose skincare preferences lean in the direction of classic, simple widely-used and loved products? While I’m perfectly happy with that I use, it would be great to hear about similarly-adored items that others use. I’ve dabbled with Thayers toner, the classic orange-colored Neutrogena cleanser, Garnier micellar water (much less history than all other items, yet seems to be approaching “classic” status), and Olay beauty fluid, however I’m certain that there are many many other beloved formulas that haven’t crossed my path.
Nah, skincare is selfcare to me. I like to unwind and send at least 30 minutes on my skincare at night. I don’t need the full routine, but I do it for the ‘me time’.

Thanks for saving my skin 😁❤️
Yes keeping simple has helped my skin so much. Thanks to you!
Sunscreen should become a social norm like brushing teeth! People look at me weird when I reapply it in public.

Pretty makeup 💖 especially the eye shadow
Got some kind of allergic eczema on my face products went down to:
Makeup remover once in a blue moon when I wear makeup
Cleanser
Hydrating toner
Moisturiser
Oil
Sunscreen when I’m leaving the house
My face has never been so smooth looking (when in don’t have hives on it)
👍😊
My doctor recommended me 3 treatments in the morning acne derm and in the evening every other day epiduo forte ans fusacid H
Ohhh I reversed the last 2 step all this time!
which last two? treatment and sunscreen or moisturizer and sunscreen?
Sunscreen should be the last step I think
The golden rule “simplicity”.
Dr Dray has helped me transform my skin with her keeping it simple strategy.
