That’s so interesting, I never thought about it this way!
My experience is that this goes for cystic acne scars as well. The scars in my teens were raised, red, and into seemed to go away after expensive laser IPL surgery. But now at 40? It doesn’t scar despite the cysts still being big. It just leaves flat red marks that go away on their own in a few weeks. So yeah, that’s one area where I was glad to age (though I wish middle age would’ve equated to NO acne at all as I hoped all my life).

I’m 64 and developed a horrible keloid on my chest after a biopsy on a sun spot that had changed. The keloid has been growing for 4 years. I’m allergic to cortisone. I guess it doesn’t care how old I am. 😕

I’m not African American but I am very interested in the impact this has on women skin over a period of time and the body’s immune system? Does it have major impact? Especially this brand selling pills also for this lighting process? I have so many questions? Not only about the health of the skin but how the body internally can be impacted over time,does make me think good??? 🤔
