the cerave cream makes my skin feel dry, what should hydrated skin feel like?

To me, it’s shiny but not greasy, you can run your finger across your face lightly and not hear a scratchy sound, no flakes. Maybe try applying your moisturizer to damp skin?

Drugstore is not too cheap these days either. Just came back from cvs-the land where you cannot buy Petroleum jelly for under $5

I’m gonna be real and say the Bum Bum Cream, because it really smells just that heavenly. And it does absorb nicely into the skin without leaving you feel like a giant grease patch. Does it do a better job than the Vanicream? No, but that’s almost besides the point.
I love that bum bun cream lol I use it after a shower and it smells so amazing, the scent lasts for hours.
I use the bum bum cream on my legs because of the smell 😄 sorry not sorry

Bum bum is basically just for smells. If vanicream doesn’t work for you, maybe apply it to damp skin

Vanicream is the GOAT. Actually I, along with a number of other subscribers, recommended to another YouTuber, Emily Noel, that she try out when her skin was getting super irritated. She actually listened to us and she got it and now she loves it. She says it feels like a high-end product!
But those too-cool-for-school skinfluencers (you know who they are!) say Vanicream is just soooo boring — eyes rolling hard . . . 😀😀😀

I started with ceraVes ret and it was good for about a week so I switched to Differin because it’s stronger and I had a tiny bit of acne here and there (so I thought win win right) no omg I wish I would have never switched. I just recently switched back over to ceraVes and it’s slowly getting better. My acne was so bad though I assume irritation was what was happening. (8weeks bad and I’m 37) I will eventually try differin again (maybe) 😂 but if your skins not used to rets I wouldn’t, I would stick to a starter ret for awhile because my skin was never this bad before and I don’t want to see that happen to anyone else
I absolutely adore the bum bum cream as a hand cream, but I don’t use it anywhere else
