  2. I used to buy Oribe and Kerastase all the time and then I tried Pantene and Dove again on a whim and found they performed better on my hair. 😂 I cringe thinking about all the wasted dollars.

    1. Oribe products have a much gentler smell than any drugstore shampoo I ever tried. They perform well. Kerastase is a hit or miss for me. I wish Pantene and Dove would dial down their fragrance to about 10%-15% of current strength, I cannot get past the smell to give it a try.

    2. I was buying fancy haircare too! Then developed itch at my scalp and the savior to this was… Head&Shoulders shampoo that I didn’t use for ages. 😂 I’ve a few high end products to treat myself, but for a while now I’m looking for cheaper stuff.
Also I pick haircare for my mom and except for K18 mask (that actually transformed her hair) she uses only cheap Dove, Pantene and Loreal products now.

    3. As a hairstylist, I would just like to remind everyone that you really don’t want to use cheap shampoos and conditioners if you are paying to have her done professionally. Will be a waste of your money and time. Having said that, I think Oribe is extremely overpriced. There are plenty of other lines that will help maintain your color and help with your hair without costing that much.

  3. Great video as always! I want to get a few pumpkins for the “critters” in the area!

I want to thank you for the recent video about applying Vaseline on minor cuts and abrasions! Yesterday I was taking a walk, the sidewalks are terrible in the area I was in, I didn’t notice it dipped down and I fell. ( I was not looking at my phone). I hit my head, hard, above my eyebrow, it has road rash, bumped my nose, scuffed up my hands and road rash on my knee. I limped home and washed my injuries with Hibiclens cleanser, applied Vaseline, then ice packs off and on until bed time. I would have dug out the antibiotic cream if I didn’t see your video, thank you!

  4. I do love Orbibe Gold Lust shampoo and conditioner but I’m going to try Pantene again. It’s been years since I have used it. Thank you!❤❤❤

    1. Try dove! They’ve been the sleeper winner. I have a shower full of redken, pureology, amika and even the gold lust but my favs to use are the new dove.

  5. I used drugstore shampoo but changed to Oribe. The thing I found special is it doesn’t give me acne around hairline

  6. I’ve always been picky about the products I use, especially for my hair, since a good routine makes a huge difference. Along with switching up my products, I’ve added a few supplements from Secret Supplements that turn you into a Superhuman to support healthy hair. Collagen has been one of the best it’s helped with both hair strength and growth. Combining the right products with good nutrition really works wonders.

  7. Yup, my report card had plenty of “Sophia needs to be less talkative.” Now I go days without talking when I WFH and it is bliss!

  8. Dear Dr. Dray, I had the shampoo bottle incident myself once! How irritating! Thanks for another smashing vlog! Your self care tips really cheer my day up!

  9. I looked at those Oribe products, especially the pink ones, for so long before I ended up buying the same bottle of Costco’s Pantene and it works very nicely. Thank you for making this, I don’t have to feel like I missed out as a poor grad student!

  10. Yay Pantene! 😂 Pantene conditioners always worked great for my hair. I once seen online someone that had something wrong happening to her cause of a Pantene product and all the internet chaos it brought with it. So I stoped using Pantene cause it was “bad” for your hair. I recently remembered how well my hair did with Pantene and bought it again. And I’m SO happy I did! I’m also obsessed with the Pro-V scent (smells like candy to me), so all I want to buy now are Pantene products 😂

  11. Thanks for sharing your day with us. The pumpkins you got are cute! I haven’t used Pantene in quite a while but might have to give the one you’ve been using a try. Happy Sunday, Dr Dray! I hope you have a blessed evening. 💖

  12. Dr Dray! Target has new Up&up lotions and body wash. The sensitive skin fragrance free body wash is soooo good! You should def review 😁

  13. I knew we had things in common besides the love of skin care and in depth information on ingredients, I was also the one being told to be quiet in class😂. Thank you for all your great videos!

  14. I have been using Pantene for color treated hair for more than 30 years. I get asked what shampoo I use quite often. And while most women my age are cutting their hair short, my hair is long, thick and very healthy. There is absolutely nothing better than finding a product that really works and sticking with it.
