Adults should have accountability too. How can you go to someone who is not a professional to get a medical procedure and then complain when things go wrong?

Well, yeah obviously.. but at the same time we also should hold our society accountable.
These adults made their own decisions, but what about the factors that influenced their decision?
The culture that is all about “anti aging” and appearances… especially for women.
ok what does that mean though? we should shame them and make them feel bad? real accountability is recognizing and changing the broader socio cultural factors that lead people to seek back alley procedures in the first place
By looking at their faces you can tell they are not okay!

I’m in work comp and we have injured workers with spasticity who get a lot of relief from Botox. It’s a great medication when administered safely!
The mother daughter duo are REALLY lucky that they’re only going to prison for unlawfully practicing medicine. There are real cosmetic surgeons that won’t do BBL’s because of the danger. If something gets injected in the wrong place, you can kill someone.
I don’t understand people paying them 6-8 G’s. They could have gone to a real surgeon for that price.
The people getting botox and fillers from randos is strange to me, too. Botox isn’t that expensive, and neither are fillers. Why would you risk your health and appearance to pay slightly less. People are wild 🤷♀️

There is so much distrust of public medicine and medical professionals in the US right now that it honestly doesn’t surprise me that people get scammed by a random person in their house because they choose them over a plastic surgeon or dermatologist. I see it online all the time where people have more trust in the advice of an esthetician or MUA than a licensed medical professional. It’s very sad and unfortunately I think stories like this will become more common
Probably for holistic medicine i prefer natural medicine over pharmaceuticals but i am not trusting a random person or a holistic doctor for cosmetic or surgical procedures.

Whoa! If you have $6-8k for illegal injections why are you not going to a real doctor? Surely legal injections can’t be much more expensive than that?
I’ve actually watched a female discuss this subject, she did a bbl and did the legal injections at a Doctor office and she ultimately decided to get the illegal injections because she didn’t like the results of the legal procedures. The illegal injections last a life time if you live through it. So those who are addicted basically to that specific procedure want results with more impact that last longer. So basically you have to be mentally unwell to go for the illegal injections
What were these women thinking allowing these unqualified women to inject them?? They should be accountable too.
