Happy Saturday, Dr. Dray and to everyone watching . β€οΈππ
Morning!
Hi Dr dray! I watched your video with regard to nutrafol and I must say I was prescribed spirolactone a year ago and it has been fantastic for hair growth. I do notice that my skin is no longer oily which I canβt believe I miss. Also, the dermatologist I saw mentioned that it is almost guaranteed I have PCOS since spirolactone worked out for me. I havenβt seen a gyno because visiting any type of doctor now days is truly a nightmare but based on your experience is there any correlation?
See my video on signs of PCOS
Happy Saturday Dr.Dray and everyone! I hope you guys out west and in the south weren’t affected too badly by the bad weather though it looked pretty bad on television and of course we got some of the rain and the wind and the tornadoes. Really sad to hear about Lisa Marie Presley!π
Greetings Sable 711 hope u r well n Happy Saturdayπππβ¦.
So sad!
@Whitney Brown ππ
Here in Utah, it’s just rain in the valley, snow in the mountains. I know this is a 1st world problem, but I work at a ski resort and today I’m looking at a 4 hour delay to get home from work due to the snow.
@Sarah Celine Pope oh my gosh I was just thinking the snow must be beautiful, as long as you’re sitting at home near the fireplace or playing a little bit out in the yard. Travel and it is not good so do be careful. We rarely get snow in the Carolinas but once many years ago it came down fairly heavy while I was at work and the governor did not suggest that we exited our jobs and a scattered way and my employer would not let us leave at noon so what would normally take me 25 to 30 minutes to get home actually took me 2 hours instead with many times having to exit the car to clear the windshield. I think I could have walked home faster than that but I sorta wanted to have my car with me!π
Happy Saturday dr dray ! my most favorite thing to do in the weekend is to watch your vlogs πππππ
Morning!
“inadequate rinsingoffage” lol βΊthat will be my next new word in English
π
Hahahahahaha! Hilarious! Love your cute self and all your awesomeness π
Thanks for your content. What do think or know about Mud Water Brand “coffee”? Or pique Tea? π
Sipping my coffee Saturday morning and watching Dr Dray is as much of a part of my routine as the gym and brushing my teeth. Happy Saturday!!
@Dr Dray I got a burn today UV 0.7. Was out bicycling from 6am-11am. I applied Banana Boat mineral face before leaving and at 9am. Dr. Dray can you please help? I have pale Irish skin, but this is just too much. I assume it was sun reflecting off of wet pavement, but in January, I would think that spf on my face in two layers would be enough.
@Craig Staul the sunscreen you’re using simply doesn’t fit the activity you’re doing. As soon as your skin stretches, moves, sweat and rubs that sunscreen is off your skin immediately.
Sweat? Is it broad spectrum? Whatβs the spf?
@jam6web What sunscreen do you recommend for sports?
@jam6web it’s banana boat sensitive mineral face zinc and titanium. spf 50. I’m very curious what DrDray would say between zinc 50 vs 100 spf from chemical ones. I’ve never bought spf 100. On a uva uvb chart, zinc is supposed to be the number one blocker. You have a point about movement.
Happy Saturday, Dr. Dray and everyone! Hope you have a fantastic day! πππ©·π
As usual, I really enjoyed your vlog! π€β¨οΈπ€β¨οΈ
Thank you! You too!
Thank you Dr Dray for your professional advice on the “necessary” skincare products (drugstore brands: huge +) and which are the “bells and whistles” skincare products. Seniors, like me, want to help our aging skin but have fixed/limited resources. This info is so helpfulβ£οΈ And the Salt Life brand has a 30 spf lip balm. π
Btw, love your new twirling pencil holder and mat/exercise stand. Thanks for sharing!
Amen Debra, I am a retired ER RN, lost all my savings for retirement in Stock market downfall, on SS so buying serums that are 120.00 or more a bottle just empties the pockets and we are the generation who needs it the most… we want our skin to be as healthy/ nice condition as possible for our age. I appreciate Dr. Dray’ s advice and care for her audience especially with consideration for those of us on a budget… that is the mark of a good Physician, a true healer… the loving heart matters so much! πΉ
Miss Andrea really you never cease to amaze truly. Organizing is key for not getting obstacles in your way, they are in a specific place ordered and tidied and when you need them you go and get them. First of all it’s really inconvenient and dangerous because you can have an accident and hurt yourself. So respect for that Miss Andrea (you da best π). Love coffee sooooo muchhhh coffee addict my self ππππ βββ. Moisturizing and moisturizers are is just me but apart from beneficial are also fun, tell me silly or childish or whatever but it is my personal POV. So happy and motivated actually from this vid about the DIY stuff π. Such an excellent Today’s Vlog π have a terrific day full with magic βΊ.
My la roche butter sunscreen definitely improves my skin texture drastically. I’m not sure what it is but my skin really doesn’t look as good unless I have my spf
Tip: store your markers and felt pens tip-down – that way ink will saturate the felt tip, and it wonβt dry out (as per my illustrator/daughter)
thanks for sharing!
I make my hand a cupped “C” shape and actually lift my elbow in scooping fashion to wash under my chin / neck area. It’s proven to be effective for me in getting off the product π especially because I apply moisturizer on the neck area every morning and night.
Yep, same! I hate the feeling of the stuff still being under there!
As many others have mentioned…I wish to thank you also, for helping us with your medical knowledge and advice for those of us on a strict budget. I worked in the health field for many years 30 to be exact.. I retired from working ER, ICU, CCU as a Nurse and lost my retirement funds and am on SS… the Physicians I respected the most were well educated, loved teaching and sharing knowledge but had a big heart and loved their patients ….those who would give back, through volunteer work, sharing knowledge,or on occasion in ER we would get people ,who we knew, it was a choice of going without food that month, or buying the prescription drugs they needed…so I would ask the ER Docs for samples to help the patient out, most all were happy to help !! Thank you for your knowledge, and giving back, and especially your good heart. Dr. Dray’!! πΉ
Wait why did you lose your retirement funds?!
I am a retired nurse. I am so sorry that you lost your retirement funds. Thatβs a nightmare! So many things regarding benefits in nursing are so unfair.
The Hatomugi Skin Conditioner (toner) 500ml for $9.00 is wonderful too. I got the toner and moisturizer a couple of months being broke and feeling deprived. These products rank right up there!
My daughter suggested I look at your channel and I’m so glad she did! I’m 58 with mature skin, but still acne prone. I have learned the hard way that being post menopausal doesn’t mean you have to use face cream. I have tried several and they all make me break out. After watching a few of your videos, I see that it’s ok to use hydrating gels on mature skin. (I used to think they were only for the younger ladies) Neutrogena seems to work well on my skin, so I’m going to try the Hydro Boost gel with Hyaluronic Acid. Thank you again! Hopefully soon my skin will be back on track.
Same here. Mature skin with breakouts STILL. Iβll try the hydrogel.
The Hydro Boost Cleansing gel fragrance free, is one of my favorites along with the Ultra gentle hydrating cleanser π₯° Moisturizing the skin is important and using products that keep our skin healthy and happy. Take care everyone
ππ You’re appreciated. I’ve got a π for you. DM π§
I learned a lot from you Dr Dray! Before I start my classes i make sure Ii put sunscreen and all. I became conscious with my skin cuz im 41. I just love how you explain every product and if its good or just meh. Thank you π₯°
ππ You’re appreciated. I’ve got a π for you. DM π§
I think the aveeno calm& restore oat gel has got to be my favorite as far as consistency and feel!! LOVE it & thank youuuu I’ve been looking for something like that mugwort mask I will def be trying
I contacted the Vanicream company and they told me the lip spf balm has been discontinued. Iβm so bummed. Also loved using it under my eyes as you suggested
Wow Iβm shocked. I always wanted to try it on my eyelids a well
Oh no, oh no, say it’s not so! I loved using it as a sunscreen around my eyes; it was so hydrating and not irritating at all : (
I just LOVE watching your videos. You’re entertaining, AND you learn something!! It’s a win-win!!! β‘
