Morning!
@@DrDrayzday❤
Great topic Dr. Dray- through you, I’ve learned that our skin is a window to what may be going on internally. Thank you!
Thanks for watching!
My older sister has fatty liver disease & she has never drank. Thank you for great information! ❤️
Diet, certain medications, certain medical conditions.
There is NAFLD, non alcoholic fatty liver disease; and Fatty liver disease. Too much fructose cases NAFLD.
Tell her to look up Jason Fung, nephrologist here on YouTube.
I had fatty liver that went unchecked and led to cirrhosis but I’m compensating.
So informative. My dermatologist is one of the most important doctors I have. She is whip smart and seems to catch everything. Thank you, Dr. Dray! 🩵
Happy Thursday, Dr. Dray❤
happy Thursday everyone! enjoy
I’m not gonna lie, as much as I enjoy getting informed, I get a bit hypochondriac when I watch these videos.
Me too
I have the opposite reaction and feel relief that I don’t have the symptoms. In any case, good medical information is becoming exceptionally difficult to find on the internet and I’m grateful for any genuine, evidence-based medical education.
Me toooooo!
then work on yourself.
Me too ….. BUT!!! IT’S WELL NEEDED !! 💯 Keep on the good work Andrea 🥇💝
Lots of love your way 💞💝 & out there 💝
My Dad always thought Billy Rubin would be a good twitter handle.
LOL
As someone who wasn’t diagnosed with Autoimmune Hepatitis until stage 4 cirrhosis (about 8 years into the disease), I’ll stress the importance of following up on signs and symptoms listed in this video. Even advanced liver damage like mine didn’t produce clear and compelling indicators until much later in the progression of the disease.
Great video! Everyone should have this info!
I love these videos! Even as a nurse I learn from them, and it helps me to recognize symptoms and patients that I might not otherwise see. Thank you
This made my anxiety go up😂but thanks Dr Dray. I couldnt watch whole thing bc Id be in bathroom mirror looking for all these😅
I’m less anxious knowing I don’t have the symptoms. Ignorance is not bliss.
@@FleurPillager speak for yourself lol
I’m going through this right now. I had a year of bad test results from autoimmune disease. Thankfully, the last few months tests have been normal. Thank God.
Hi Dr Dray, I’m am avid fan but this is my first time commenting. I was diagnosed with severe bile salt malabsorption in August 2019. Leading up to the diagnosis, I suffered from extreme itching all over my body but despite my concerns, my doctors and consultants never once considered the itching could be related to this.
Edit – I’ve never drunk alcohol in my life and have always maintained a relatively healthy lifestyle but I suffered from supposed IBS since my early 20’s.
My mother had two of these, and multiple doctors did not spot them and check her liver. She had a few different conditions (diabetes, kidney disease, etc.), but it was non-alcoholic fatty liver disease that was listed as her official cause of death.
Could you make a video on cellulitis? 🙏🙏🙏 mainly best practices to keep it from recurring and stuff like that? Really appreciate your videos
Beofre you panic, there are organizations that do free liver scans. My mom and I went to get it done. My mom was certain she had a failing liver. She only had like, 5% damage.
I’m on humira for psoriasis so I can get my lab work done atleast once a year … I suggest everyone get atleast a metabolic panel and a blood panel done once a year.
I hope tests for Hepatitis is given during routine physicals. I was bit by one of my students. After labs it was discovered I had Hepatitis C. It wasn’t from the bite. It was a blood transfusion 40 years before the bite. I was treated for Leukemia and given blood transfusions. In 1979 they didn’t know about Hep C. I’m so glad that student bit me!! I was treated and cured!! But, not sure why I was never tested when the tests were available. I wasn’t even tested during my 2 pregnancies!!! I’m just very thankful that it wasn’t HIV contaminated!!I realized that I had significant brain fog for the last 40 years!!! You realize you had it after it’s gone!!!
IF YOU THINK YOU’RE TOO YOUNG TO HAVE A DAMAGED LIVER AND YOU HAVE A DRINKING PROBLEM: Im only 31 and i only drank as an alcoholic for 5 years and i have irreversible liver damage. Im just short of having enough damage to qualify for a liver transplant. Im 8 months sober! But now i have to get regular screenings for cancer, have extemely low white blood cells and low platelets.
I just want to say…those built in bookshelves are AMAZING! I can see the wall painted with w lighter color contrasted with a darker accent color at the back and white shelves filled with a lot of books, special and eccentric knick knacks, etc. Thar type of thing would be the type of thing that would make me want to buy a house!
