It seems like your skin barrier may have been compromised or you might not be reacting well to a product. I’d recommend pausing any active treatments for now and sticking to a gentle cleanser and moisturizer for a few days to help restore balance. The Vanicream Gentle Cleanser is a great option for cleansing, and for moisturizing, you could try La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Vitamin B5 Balm (or even Vaseline works well, too!). Dr. Dray has some excellent videos on skin barrier recovery – I’d definitely recommend checking them out for more tips!
She’d probably say stop the new product immediately. Gentle cleanser, moisturiser with ceramides, and Vaseline. Nothing else in terms of products.

When my bottles won’t get the product out anymore, I cut down the bottle and the pump and reassemble. I get every last drop, even digging the last drop with my fingers
I do mine at the sink but I use a microfiber wash cloth to remove it. Then I wash my face with my face wash. I just use the E.L.F. makeup melting cleansing balm. My face wash is the Paula’s Choice resist Perfectly Balanced foamimg cleanser.
i noticed that Prequel has a 10% Urea Lotion. same amount and price. A side by side comparison would be good.

Dr D- I had a lotion that just REFUSED to come out of the pump full stop. Just cut the bottle open and put it in a mason jar with a plastic lid.

Dr. Dray, Amazon sells caps that you can switch out the pump for when you get down to the “dregs.” And, they’re specially made so that the bottle can be kept upside down so the product makes its way down to where it can be easily dispensed. Clever invention.

What’s your current rotation? Sounds like adding glycerin and going back to the 7 skin method may help (I personally love doing it still).
Hey Dr Dray! New subscriber here. I deliver for Amazon and have been for over 2 years. I think I’ve worn sunscreen twice since I’ve started. Well? Yeah, I’ve seen a great increase in aging skin and increased melanation in the summer months (partly hispanic). So, I just started applying a Neutrogena SPF 70 oil-free on my face and applying it 3 to 4 times while I’m out. But man, it gets over 100 degrees where I live (Nebraska) and HUMID and SUNNY AF in the summer and it’s truly unbearable and I will hate reapplying sunscreen to a sweaty, dirty hands, greasy face while I’m on the go anyhoo I am going to bring a portable hand washing deal or perhaps wipes to wipe my hands and face so I can reapply it no problem but the thing that gets me the most is the sweatiness and oiliness of the product intermingling like the sensation alone of being unbearably hot, sweaty, and using dirty hands to reapply sunscreen every 2 hours is like not my idea of a summer vacation?? So, any pointers will help!!!
Try a sunscreen stick, it is easier to reapply without touching your face with your hands.
Maybe try an SPF 50 from Japan or Korea. The one you have is pretty thick. For reapplication try a stick sunscreen so you can manage with dirty hands.
SPF 70 is going to be really uncomfortable to wear. Better to get a good spf50 and reapply. And wear a hat!
@@Estertje93 Please wear a hat and keep AB wipes around for cleaning your hands before using SPF70 sunscreen! The high SPF will work to prevent aging! I know, I’m almost 70 and they ask me if I’m around 35 or so!! I wear this almost every day.
