Hi I thought toners were used after you cleanse to make sure all makeup and “the day” is off your face then you exfoliate…
That is not what toners are used for. Tons of people use them that way, but they aren’t intended to be used as another cleanse. If you are swiping toner on with a cotton pad and you are still seeing grime and makeup from the day, it simply means your cleanser or cleansing technique is not good enough.
@@Basic6936exactly. A toner is meant to either balance the pH, hydrate, exfoliate or all of the above. A toner is not a cleanser
