Nothing like a Target (Tarjay) shopping trip! Woo hoo! 💜💜💜
Happy Wednesday
Happy post Tax Day! For me, this means life will begin to balance as an accountant. I am celebrating by joining Dr Dray and all the followers who share my special interests in skin care. This is my “me” time 😊
Greetings Theresa Berg hope u r well n Happy Wednesday😀👍💜….
@Whitney Brown Thank you, I was hoping you would recognize me, not sure why but I had to create a new sign on and it used Theresa vs Terry (both names are still me)
Yay! 😊
@Dr Dray Very happy!
Yay! I’ve been looking for a sunscreen for my grands! Thanks for the Black Girls Sunscreen recommendation for kids! On my way to Target!
Happy Wednesday Dr. Dray! I love your shop with me videos. They often make me jealous of the drugstore products we don’t get here in Canada LOL!
But you do have fabulous brands like Biotherm!! Used to work for them as an Esthetician
This Winnipegger hears you! 💯
I agree!
Personally, I’m glad when brands offer non-water resistant sunscreen options, as I like them for everyday use if I don’t have to worry about my face getting wet or humid weather. I find they are generally easier to rinse away at the end of the day, and the texture is more like that of a typical moisturizer since it doesn’t form a stronger water-resistant barrier. Of course there are going to be sunscreens that break this mould, but I just tend to have better luck finding a formula I enjoy when testing out spfs not marketed as being water resistant
I read somewhere that Byoma designed their packaging very intentionally to reduce excess plastic and packaging waste. So all the bottles are in those geometric 3D kind of shapes so they can be packed, shipped, and displayed easily without having to place the product inside a different box.
“Easter egg hunt from Hades”🤣 Your sense of humour is always A+
I’ve tried the curology products! The sunscreen is basic but pretty nice and non irritating. The Gentle Cleanser is my favorite product from them.
Omg you are so cute!
I love these “shop with me” videos. They are informative And you are funny girl!
I have the Curology SPF and I love it! It blends into my skin and disappears, even though it’s a mineral sunscreen. It’s not shiny at all. I have dry skin so I use a good moisturizer underneath. I say try it!
Omg the number of skincare and makeup products are absolutely overwhelming!!! I’m 73 and so happy I have you and your channel to help me wade through all these product choices 🤪🤪🤪
I just turned 60 and it’s much different than when we were younger 😊 But I don’t mind, I love all of the improvements and new products 💓
I’m obsessed with her videos. She’s so real and just says when things are unnecessary, and what to use instead. Saving us some money.
Thank you Dr. Dray for making these videos! I recently bought the Goldbond melatonin overnight cream from Amazon, it doesn’t seem any physical stores carry it anymore.
When it comes to skincare – I tend to follow what we call in hitech industry the “best of breed” products for each area because hard to imagine that one single company would be really be the best in every single dept of skincare. So going with the best product (as long as it’s compatible) in each area (cleanser, toner, cream, etc) versus a whole product line seems more logical.
The Differin cleanser is really nice, no fragrance, not irritating. It starts as a clear gel/jelly and turns creamy on the skin. The Byoma jelly cleanser looks interesting though, and the packaging is very eye-catching!
I really enjoy the byoma cleansing balm! I love the price, it doesn’t irritate my super sensitive eyes but can remove my waterproof mascara/any makeup, and it really melts nicely, like a soft butter, but doesn’t get oily/runny! 😊 I am ashamed to admit I purchased several at once and just couldn’t find a perfect one. This one is an 8.5/10 I feel! Definitely worth a try!
TY for all your support of Undefined and glad you like the new packaging. And it’s 15% off at Target this week (in store and online)🤑
The Curology SPF is excellent. It doesn’t leave a cast and it rubs in really well and somehow is not greasy either. However, I recently realized I’m allergic to chemical sunscreens, so I can’t use it. It made my neck red and rashly, but the sunscreen really is great if you aren’t sensitive or allergic.
This is my new favorite channel! I love learning all this valuable information about ingredients and how to think like a dermatologist. Thank you so much for sharing this with us Dr. Dray!!
Thanks for taking us along with to Target…always fun!
I’m struck by the vast array of complex products. I’ve settled on daily sunscreen and a moisturizer as needed. The universe of specialized formulations seems like overkill, at least in my personal case!
