Oh wow I never thought to use it for that reason!
Yes to line the area it is definitely the go to!

@@DrDrayzday did you bling up the jar like this, just to show how valuable in your eyes you think it is lol?
😂👏👏👏
I just started on my third big bottle of it. Thanks to you I don’t have dry skin anymore. Mo other lotion or cream helped. I get from Amazon. Three giant tubs for less than $10
Great deal!
❤️ that sparkly jar of Vaseline!
I need one.
😍
Me too…is that a DIY ?🧐🌺

My mother used Vaseline to moisturize her face every night before bedtime. Her skin was very smooth up until she passed away at age 88.
I received a gift card to Amazon and finally decided to purchase some Vaseline because of you. I have zero regrets 🙌
Because of your enthusiasm for petrolatum I tried Vaseline’s Clinical Care line, lotion and overnight cream, and my hypersensitive skin has never felt better. I can’t tolerate hyaluronic acid or niacinimide, which makes most of the great drugstore lotions a nightmare for me. But the Vaseline lotions are ultra-simple: just glycerine, pro-lipids, and petrolatum. And at about $7 a jar, I feel like a genius
My grandma used this for as long as I can remember. She never had a wrinkle and the most soft and beautiful skin.
No wrinkles at all??
@Viv-y5u Not one. I do think genetics played a role and she always protected herself from the sun.
I’m so glad you said that vaseline doesn’t cause milia. I was using vaseline as an “eye cream” and a bit on my cheeks every night to help soothe my type 1 rosacea. It really helped and kept the area around my eyes looking good. But I recently got one spot of milia just below my right eye area that my dermatologist removed. She was horrified to hear that I had been using vaseline on my face and around my eyes for years, and she told me that vaseline had to be the cause of the one milia (even though I only got one after years of using vaseline every night). But she insisted vaseline cases milia and scared me away from using it. Now my cheeks and around my eyes are suffering for avoiding using it. Back to using Vaseline starting tonight!
Vaseline will and does cause milia, your derm is correct pls listen to your derm. Ima a big Fan of Dr. Dray, but from my own use of vaseline on eyelids, it cause milia, soon as I stopped using, it cleared up.
I had a bad infection on my upper eyelid. A derm told me caused by Vaseline used to take off heavy eye makeup. It worked great. He said so Thick the skin couldn’t get air so infection. This was a very long time ago in 80s. I never used it again on my eyes. My cousin grew up way in the country. Also as a teen she had no money. She washed her face with soap and water, then cleaned it with alcohol on a cotton pad. After that shemoisturized with Vaseline. She had nice skin. She used what was available to her.😮
I’ve been using Vaseline for Years and I love it 💖😊
As a RN with 25 yrs experience and extensive experience with wound care, I can confirm that Vaseline/petroleum jelly is one of the most used and most effective applications these days. And even if the wound product isn’t specifically labeled as a petroleum jelly product, you’re still gonna find it in the ingredients A LOT…..❤❤❤
Vaseline has so many amazing uses in my house that I keep one on each floor, basement, main floor, bedrooms upstairs. That way I never have to go looking for it. Oh yeah also one at work and the stick version in my car.
Vaseline Cocoa Butter Lip Therapy is my jam! I do use Cerave Healing Ointment for other things though…which is almost 50% petrolatum, but seems to work better for me than straight vaseline.
I could have benefited from someone like you in the early 1980s when I was super dehydrating my skin to fight bad acne.
I love you Dr Dray, you provide so much valuable information and you dont tell us to spent millions on colourful useless stuff ❤
Vaseline has done wonders for my nails, lips and eyelids. I’d forgotten how great it was until I saw one of your videos a while back, and yeah my nails and lips are back to looking healthy again. And it’s so affordable! It really is the secret sauce they try to hide from you.
There was always a jar at Vaseline in my home growing up. There was also a medicated version back then and that was used for cuts, scrapes, burns etc. I’ve always had Vaseline in my home as an adult. Wonderful moisturizer among many things and it’s so reasonably priced. What’s not to love?! Thanks, Dr Dray! Happy Friday!! I hope you have a fantastic weekend. 💙
I’ve been watching a lot of videos like this lately, and I just want to share something that’s taken things to another level for me. The Forbidden Art of Majestic Beauty is one of those rare books that teaches beauty like a form of energy. It explains how your presence, your voice, your micro-expressions…all shape how people experience you. Since applying a few things, I’ve felt more radiant without adding anything to my routine
