I was today years old when I learned you need SPF for your lips too! Lol 😅 so gonna be doing that now too ❤ I wear spf daily as my morning skincare routine
Lol there is no need for spf in lips ,lips are much stronger

@Clarissa Thompson and why now they decided that we must put sunscreen on lips not ages ago , ur mother and grandmother and the ones before them they lived without sunscreen on lips and silky pillows 🤣did not they

@Randa ranoda People who didn’t “naturally” survive it literally died. You’ve never even known any people with skin as pale as milk, have you. Some people are so pale they cannot get a tan, they only get horribly burnt. Others aren’t that pale, but we still have reasons why we might as well be – like my family tree is extremely prone to cancers including skin cancer. My grandmothers and so on literally just die from conditions you are so nonchalant about. You might as well be claiming sickle cell disease isn’t a thing just because you don’t have such genes.

I have been using the mentholatum lip balm for over 20 years and I just realized it has spf haha.
Jack Black makes a really good lip balm that doesn’t leave that annoying film on my lips that most balms do. I used it long before I realized it has SPF too 💃🏽 Black Girl Sunscreen also makes a clear lip gloss with SPF.
YES! I’ve used jack black lip balm for years!! Super moisturizing and even in the Vegas sun no sun burn I wish she would try them out!
Boots Soltan Sunscreen Stick is also a very good alternative since its free of fragrance and colorant as well

What a great find. Aged lips can you look really old, protection and great price. Australia has had trouble with sunscreens that caused second degree burns.
I find that lip spf products always end up getting in my mouth, and to say the least, they always taste disgusting…
Banana Boat SPF 45 is also a good one and under $4, water resistant up to 80 minutes.

For that price, I’m willing to try it. So far, I haven’t any luck with lip SPF. They either dry my lips or make the sunburn worse.

You could also run this balm across your eyebrows and the part in your hair. There is skin hiding there that we need to protect from sunburn ☀️
