Lumify drops are pretty expensive. The cream is likely cheaper.
how often can you safely use this on eyes?
Technically, not often, when you REALLY need them, like for photos or special events. Not more than maybe once a month (I’m sure some people have anecdotally been ‘fine’ when they have used it more often, but that is at your own risk). Even the lady in the clip says she doesn’t always use them

Works for you for what? You need to address the cause of your red eyes if that’s an on going issue for you.

Approx $80-over $100 per fluid oz!!!! I use Lumify as needed for pics or special occasions. Well out of my price range for everyday use, not to mention UNDER my eyes 👀

Be careful of using vasoconstricting eyedrops too often. If your eyes are chronically red and you’re using the drops often, that can lead to side effects from reduced circulation in the little capillaries at the surface of the eye. If it’s occasional redness and occasional use, that’s far less of a concern.
I think afrin essentially does the same, right?

Oh man lumify eye drops burn the crap out of my eyes. I only use it when i pet cats and then have crazy bloodshot eyes and dont want to look like some druggie high on drugs. My eyeballs are too dry for this. Even systane doesn’t work

Lumify is the only vasoconstrictor eye drop that claims NOT to cause rebound redness because it’s the only one that’s selective for the alpha 2 receptors (targets veins but not arteries). Their claims are for the eyes and not the skin for obvious reasons, but Mirvaso does appear to be a MUCH higher concentration so I wouldn’t assume Lumify would cause rebound redness on the skin just because Mirvaso does.
Models have used eye drops since forever to take red out of pimples etc
Lumify and Visine will also eliminate the redness of a pimple in a pinch. Got an event and up pops that pesky zit? Put some Visine on it. Maybe don’t apply it to your whole face, but if you just need to calm down a spot a two on occasion, I don’t see the harm. 😊
My optometrist sold me on the Lumify by saying it was different than, Clear Eyes, because it does not constrict the blood vessels in my eyes. $30.00 or $35.00 for 0.08 fluid ounce bottle. What a load of B.S.!
