I’ve been wanting to try this moisturizer, now I think I will! I’ve read some small studies that suggest camellia sinensis may inhibit MMPs to some degree, but I wonder how that actually translates to topical formulations on real human skin.
The moisturizer is great. It probably depends on overall formulation, as stability could be an issue

I tried the Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner because of you, and it basically saved my skin. Since then I have tried so many Pyunkang Yul products, and all of them are Good to Excellent. I use the Black Tea eye cream and LOVE it, but haven’t tried this cream.

tried the rovectin hyaluronic acid toner because of this channel and love it. I live in phoenix so my skin its super dry and it works great applied to damp skin and under moisturizer. I’d be tempted to get this toner as well but i’ve realized I need to cut back on buying new skincare when I already have products that work for me and I haven’t used up

The Korean skincare takes f-o-r-e-v-e-r to arrive sometimes from anywhere except Amazon (Amazon arrives more quickly).
Try shopping with soko glam or oh lolly. Much faster than most.
I’ve only tried their moisture ampoule and I was really surprised at how nice it made my skin feel. I am excited to try their other products.

Neutrogena Purescreen is such a find, so cheap, so awesome and so much better than what I was using before. Thank you so much again. I am your fan for life. @Violet I got a prescription for both with a dermatologist. Before I was just using tretinoin. Had tried hydroquinone also, but didn’t like it. Based on what Dr Dray said, azelaic acid is safer.
I LOVE Pyungkang Yul sleeping mask because it’s cooling and soothing for my menopausal skin, and their moisture mist is a wonderful pick me up during the day or as a “toner” step. Their products are great!

@Joan Vignocchi Yep! I found it on Yesstyle and Amazon. Yesstyle gets it from the warehouse in Korea though so it takes a few weeks!
I stopped using the ATO cream during my transition from .025% tretinoin to :05% and my skin went crazy. That ATO cream seriously works it’s insane because I have tons of great creams and moisturizers. This one is THE BEST. The cost per Oz, the texture, no fragrance or essential oils. So so so good

Pyunkang Yul Ato cream. Ato is similar to the meaning sensitive. Its a wonderful cream. I use as a night cream.

The Pyungkan repair cream is amazingly good. I have rosacea prone skin and this has worked beautifully for me, as long as I use a light hand. The Korean skincare recommendations from you have transformed my skin- thank you!

I love Pyunkang Yul products and have used a lot of them! Intensive moisture cream is one of my favorites but other products are great too. Wanted to try these new products for so long so I am glad you made a video trying them first! I actually have a toner and will try out tonight! Thanks dr Dray!

That toner has been a GAME CHANGER for me. Definitely hydrates. I also find that my skin barrier is not damaged as frequently (and when it is, my skin recovers very quickly)
Pyunkang Yul is one of those Korean brands that isn’t popular in Japan but is really popular in the States. I keep hearing people talking about it so I definitely need it to try it at some point!
