Happy Friday Dr Dray so excited to be here i live for this ❤️
Morning!
Nice topic this Friday Dray! Love that color! 👍🏻☕️☀️
Thanks so much!
@ your welcome! Delivering good info regularly! ⭐️
I have a partial IgA deficiency and gluten intolerance (not celiac) but I also have eczema, cystic acne and other skin issues.
I used Spironalactone and then switched to Lysine and it also works for acne And my eczema is triggered by Sulfates – dates, wine, etc Hope it helps
@@KJB0001spirolactone has been amazing for me as well but not working as well lately but I also upped my dosage of estrogen for post menopause symptoms. Dammed if you do dammed if you don’t!
Try some L reuteri
HI DR. DRAY-CAN GUT ISSUE BE RELATED TO ROSECEA REDNESS OF THE SKIN? I’VE BEEN READING A LOT ABOUT THIS AND SOME SAY THEY CAN BE.WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THIS? LOVE ALL OF YOUR TOPICS!
Though I have never been diagnosed with badas 😂, I have rosacea and SIBO and definitely know first hand a connection between gut and skin health!! This information is so important! Thank you Dr. Dray!!!
there is definitely a close connection
Do you mean that their was a connection between your gut health and rosacea?
@ yes, definitely!
@SuiteLifeFan17 do you mind if I ask what it was? I’ve gotten rid of my visible rosacea with sulfur soap but now I’m thinking I might just be covering up a deeper problem.
@@myschka9178 Sulphur soap is great! I also use azalaic acid. My situation was complex because I was put on a strong antibiotic (Clindamycin) for a tooth infection and it caused a crohns like reaction. Ultimately I was put on Flagyl (oral Metronidazole) and it helped my gut and my rosacea. Hope I did not complicate things. If the sulphur soap helps then I wouldn’t look for other problems. My situation was unique!
Thank you so much, I love these videos.
Very interesting & informative! Thank you!❤️
So smart, Thank You!
Whoooa Dr Dray this was a banger! Gorgeous color scrubs ❤
I have recently acquired “blood red” spots on the front of my forearms…they usually appear after I have applied pressure to the forearms (like carrying groceries upon my forearms or applying pressure to the forearms, like squeezing between a semi-closed doorway…after some time, the red spots disappear…any thoughts? ❤
I stopped eating gluten, I stopped eating almonds and I stopped eating dairy. My cystic acne that plagued me for 30 years plus disappeared. Turns out I had an inflamed gut because I was ingesting foods I had intolerances to
How did you discover the intolerance? Was it by elimination or did you do some tests? I have doubts about intolerance myself, so wondering where to start.
@@margaritapeeva9181 Id love to know as well!
almonds too? 😮
Greetings Dr.Dray from Serbia ❤
I have Crohn’s disease, Plaque psoriasis and Psoriatic arthritis. With that I have rosacea, eczema, cystic acne, and random rashes that crop up out of nowhere. It’s exhausting. 😓
Iv struggled with acne since i was 18. (Now 26) Iv always had tummy issues, to the point where vomiting daily was my normal. I finally got diagnosed with coeliac in June last year. Since going gluten free my acne has vanished. Yaaay!!! 🥳🥳
Your gut really effects the entire body.
So many symptoms i thought were “normal” are infact not normal 😅
As much as I know that gut health is important for overall health, it still surprises me that it can also affect the skin. Appreciate the education, Dr Dray. Happy Friday!! I hope you, your sweet momma and little Tybee have a fantastic weekend. 💞
I work in both rheumatology and IBD research, so I was excited to see this video from you on my homepage. Really enjoyed this!
Thanks for watching
Thank you for this educational video! I’ve got IBD, and although I never got a persistent rash, I did get the concomitant arthritis ( very very painful, with fevers as well). In addition to the ongoing treatment for the UC, I was put on methotrexate for the arthritis. I’m not happy to take it, but it works and I’m happy to be out of pain!
Thank you for this – please can you make some more general videos about the gut and use of probiotics- I know you’re focused on the skin but you are very helpful for general advice – both arthritis and colon + gut issues and cancers run in my family so I’m always looking for tips and tricks for general gut health and how to spot a potential issue before it arises or goes too far – you give level headed advice which is really appreciated- please could you make some more general videos on bacteria and probiotics (recurring thrush for example, do probiotics actually help with this ) thank you for your videos
3:45 – Love how you explained the gut-skin connection here. Most people overlook this, but it’s such a root cause behind stubborn breakouts and dullness.
