  1. It’s one of the many things I’ve tried. It works, sure. I just don’t like how drying and stinky it is. So I lean towards other ingredients instead. But I’d gladly see sulfur if the store was low on stock of my usually stuff.

  2. When I was in my teens we used this in México for acne spots, is a winner, not over price Sunday Raley sulfur mask for 60 bucks…

    1. Exactly! I also used to bring a bunch of tretinoin tubes over for my friends who couldn’t afford a derm in the US. Crazy how it’s sold OTC there.

  3. I have sensitive skin. I like to use this 5 minutes before I take a shower. It helps a lot without causing redness

    1. Odor yes! Dark spot not sure. Sulfur soap cures my back acnes and armpit odor. I leave the lather on for 1-2 mins before rinsing.

  4. It’s also a traditional North African skincare ingredient. I was always skeptical of it since it seemed a bit much but turns out the evidence is there :) thanks for sharing

  5. hi, can I ask you: with the same logic, are sulfur baths good for your face/skin? We have them in our city and I hardly ever go…

  6. I just started using sulfur by Naturium at Target- and after a few weeks of daily use, my redness and small red bumps due to rosacea under my nose and chin are totally gone! I am so happy ♥️💗♥️💗
You are the best Dr. Dray!!!

  7. Yes! I been using that sulfur soap as a mask for my chest and back acne. I lather it up, leave it on my skin for 10 minutes, then rinse it off. Great for using as a general face and body wash too. Proactiv sells a 6% sulfur mask called Skin Purifying Mask, and it’s $40, while that soap yellow soap bar and the jar is 10% sulfur for less than 1/4 of the price!!
